It's not like that doesn't happen in RB. Harmonix are just smart enough to have the gems fade as they go past, but there's still a margin of error you're allowed.

Just played the Green Day demo on PS3 using auto calibration and had no issues. Settings seem to be identical to my auto RB2 settings as well. Looks like it's a 360 issue or could it be that the people having issues aren't used to a lack of high speed.

My video settings ended up staying the same, but the audio settings did change for me on the 360.
