wait wat? what's w/ these sunday releases all ofa sudden, first mercenaries, now rock band. jeez I hope meijer has this in.

That's what I'm hoping for. Heading to Meijer first tonight with Walmart as my back up plan. Yay, it's finally here!
 
FYI for anyone else who is having a midnight release party type thing and doesn't want to have to go through and unlock all the songs, the unlock all songs code is the same as it was in Rock Band 1. Red Yellow Blue Red Red Blue Blue Red Yellow Blue. You enter it somewhere in the extras menu.
 
Have they announced yet if the GH4 drums will work with RB2, i haven't really been following it much aside from the song lists. I COULD use a new pair of drums as mine are all worn, beaten, and taped up but i could wait a month seeing as im buying the GH4 bundle. If not i might need to pickup the Rb2 standalone drum kit.

Just got my copy, scoring crisis is no biggie at all.....

As I falsely reported earlier that there was not scores by instruments. This is not true, it's hidden. Under the Xbox Live Leaderboards section.

Pretty peeved, the Wal-Mart I called this morning that said they'd have the game, apparently claimed not to have it anywhere to be found. No RB2 for me this evening I guess...
 
When making a random setlist, can you choose which songs are less likely to appear?

The DLC manager on the PS3 is horrid, and I can't delete individual songs. I really don't want to play Seven and Timmy in RB2.

If not, I might make the switch over to 360 and CL my old gear.
 
So disappointed in the lack of new clothing options for characters, so disappointed. Its the exact same stuff that was in Rock Band 1 outside of the Thrift Store.

coulda got it at midnight, but they sold out pretty quick and I decided to just get it tomorrow morning. stupid apartment not being able to be loud at night. 11am feels so far away. :(

God damnit... What about face options? More than 6?

All I wanted was more low-key outfits so I could remake my favorite celebrities and/or my friends in the game without the purple mohawks and chaps :(

Yeah, anyone? Reports haven't been great, it's 10:24 here, I'm tired, and I don't want to waste 30 minutes of my life doing something I need not do. Tried calling them and they won't pick up, fuckers.

Granted, the guy whom I called earlier today said they'd be selling it at midnight, but he didn't sound very knowledgeable.

I really want to play this tonight. :(

the 24h I called was sold out at around 12:20, they only got in 16 copies. I'd get there about 30 min early if I were you guys, and you wanted to score one tonight.

Got mine at Wal-Mart. There was a small line. I dunno how many copies they had, but it looked like they could fit at least 20 in the box. I was like 7 or 8th in line when I got there (just after midnight) So it could depend on your city. Anyway...

I'M READY TO ROCK!

There are twice as many face options in RB2 (12 male, 12 female), and the thrift store has a pretty large amount of stuff. Not to mention more hats, facial hair, tattoos, bandanas, masks, and facial piercings.

They found the box 30 minutes after I left, and my friend grabbed a copy. Playing now!

The thing is, most Walmarts aren't even getting copies, or they're not selling them tonight as per Rock Band forum reports and SA.
 
you unlock songs while playing world tour right? I never played WT mode in RB1 and now I'm going through the solo tour in rb2
 
Anyone picking up the game in Canada? I'm heading to Wal-Mart in the morning in hopes that they'll have it, but if they don't I'll have wasted a bus trip. I don't know if Canada has many 24-hour Wal-Marts, but maybe someone's heading to one?

There's six parts to it. The other challenges are locked. The first 4 of the six that are available within the Locl Upstart are warm ups. One is for band, one is for guitar, one is for voacl, and one is for drums. They all have songs that specialize with insurments and bands.

In the band one they have:

Eye of the Tiger
Hungry like the Wolf
Float On

In the Break of Dawn, the one you speak of, only has one song... "Hello There" by Cheap Trick.

Seems as if all you have to do, is play the song. No one on my friends list has played it yet. We could become friends...
