I might kiss you if this are true. Tongues and everything.
Knowing our luck, though, it's probably the PS2/Wii expansion discs![]()
ollcon said:I work in a gamestation store in the uk and we had a huge christmas release list today and rock band 2 Solus 360 only was in there for the 21st november, i can get you a picture tomorrow if anybody wants some proof but it is just a print out chart done on excel.
Roll on november!
iapetus said:All kissing should be directed to ollcon at the RB forums. Here, in fact.
Kafel said::lol @ Dave acting like he's surprised to receive RB2.
Dave, we know you were so scared not to access the 20 songs you preferred to make sure you have a code at least. ; )
TheGreatDave said:I am going to keep it just in case, I think. I didn't really want to spend nearly 100 US dollars on 20 songs though, even if I am retarded usually.
Kafel said:$100 ...
wait, where did you order it ? O_O
you so crazy ...
JavyOO7 said:Livin' on a prayer seems so much to fun to play in this game.
I hope there's a Bon Jovi DLC pack soon. Many other songs you can put from them...
Keep the Faith
I Believe
Bed of Roses
Dry County
Lay Your Hands on Me
Hey God
My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms
etc...
This game seems as fantastic as the previous one. Can't wait to buy it, eventually.

sneaky77 said:I agree, I have also been really surprised with all the Greatful dead songs so far I am not a regular of their stuff but all their songs are very fun to play in guitar.
I was very dissapointed in the guitar chart of everlong, which is one of the songs I was most looking forward to, learning to fly was very fun imo in RB1, everlong.. not so much.
robochimp said:Whats wrong with the Everlong chart? And what else were they supposed to do for Testify?
iapetus said:What are you planning on doing about that? EA warranty? Metal reinforcement to fix it? Make your own real bass pedal?
sneaky77 said:I didn't say they charted it wrong... I just didn't enjoy playing them.
edit: I don't claim to be an expert in charts or a top tier player, I just talk about my level of enjoyment.
GoutPatrol said:Did you ever play the GH1 version?
iapetus said:No Blaze of Glory, no purchase.
TheGreatDave said:I already had metal reinforcement. It's snaped right at the bottom, where the hinge is, so I can't repair it. And EA's wonderful system in the UK requires you to return the entire Band In A Box to your retailer, who was Play.com for me. I don't know if I can even be bothered doing it a second time.

sneaky77 said:Buy one of those fancy ones or wait for GH:WT I guess.. sorry dude, that sucks how flimsy those pedals turn out to be
Kafel said:Maybe it would be a good idea to release these 20 songs now ?
I mean, the game is out now.
Keyser Soze said:U2, ABBA, Queen, Scissor Sisters, The Killers or ANY GOOD UK BAND please....
TheGreatDave said:I may check that out. I don't expect the GHWT pedal to be much better.
there's been plenty of bitching about the game so far so I don't think you need to set yourself aside like that.sneaky77 said:I know that not many people will share this sentiment, and how do I dare criticize the mighty Harmonix, I am kind of dissapointed with this game, it seems like it was a rush job. I still enjoy playing it but there is something missing for me to completely click with it like I loved RB1, maybe there are just that many songs I do not like, comparing to previous games. And some of the songs I like, but the charts are just ugh.. like testify for example.
iapetus said:I've got my solution (hopefully) for RB and potentially GHWT sorted. Picked up a dirt cheap electronic drum kit on eBay (it's a nasty ION kit, but should be good enough for my needs) - £63, and I can go pick it up tomorrow. Then before my pedal dies I'll order one of those MIDI adapters for Rock Band, and use the kit. If the pedal goes on that I can just replace it with a better one.![]()
