Are the 360 version and the PS3 versions of the instruments compatible with each other?
Survey says...!

So sorry, the highest answer was "no, except for the mic".

"Lips" as a name does not conjure images of singing while "SingStar" does. I mean, it says right there: SingStar.TheGreatDave said:Lips should be better than Singstar though, on account of it not being named "Singstar".
heh, nope. I think that proprietary input methods have something to do with it, kind of like controllers throughout time. (Adaptors don't count)dabookerman said:QUICK QUESTION!

I wasn't too crazy about Maps so I never really gave it a look. What a fucking mistake.birdman said:*blinks* You've yet to get that song? Man, you've been seriously missing out.
I predicted Rust in Peace for the metal album they said they'd release, obviously it was Peace Sells but i was close!TheGreatDave said:I called it.
This raises another discussion; how many songs have you all wanted to be in the game, and then had made available? Date With The Night is one that springs to mind for me, Greatest Man That Ever Lived is another.

edit: to contribute to the current "wishes fulfilled" discussion:
Living on a Prayer, The Middle, most of the Boston pack (that was a dream come true), Our Truth, and War Pigs.
I think tomorrow's announcement is going to be interesting; if it's an album, I'd say getting an album for each of the next 6 weeks (at least, I wouldn't be surprised if they offload three of them for GHWT's release) is virtually guaranteed.
And Live at Donington as well. Releasing on the Tuesday before GHWT along with the new Black Ice CD makes too much sense.BigBlackGamer said:I think at the least they will release the Foo Fighters album around GHWT time.

Brobzoid said:excuse me, but does Rockband 1/2 only have two Soundgarden songs between them? If so, I'm appalled. I want Badmotorfinger in it's entirety.![]()

Gotta have some Teela.

vatstep said:Dexter isnt my favorite show by any means, but I do like it quite a bit. Im not one of those people from the Emmy thread, aghast that the show didnt take home numerous awards to be honest, I still dont think it deserves any. While I do agree that the premise is predictable and old hat, Dexter himself just makes the show for me. None of the other characters resonate nearly as much I just find Michael C. Hall utterly charming. Its an enjoyable show (that had a sub-par second season) with great promotional materials (like my avatar). And yes, a fantastic opening sequence.
TheGreatDave said:They should scrap bass and add rhythm, so people can have fun.
Belgand said:Hmm... this has me thinking. If the lady playing Baroness in the upcoming live-action G.I. Joe movie isn't sickeningly hot then... then... I just don't know what I'll do. That would be one of the most epic failures of all time.
Ten-Song said:Well, in regards to that, this is what you're stuck with.
Belgand said:Wow. She looks terrible in the publicity shot released. Not to mention absolutely nothing like Baroness. I cannot imagine how this is considered salvageable at this point.
It's not hard. Find someone unknown ungodly hot Russian lady with black hair and a body that will look great in a form-fitting black outfit. Give her huge glasses that somehow manage to make her look significantly hotter. Even if she can't act that well you've got it down then. The looking hot and having a sexy accent are the main aspects of the character. The rest is just having sex with a dude who has a metal face and being vigilant not to turn into a snake.

Assume any movie with a Wayans brother will be terrible.
Belgand said:Getting back on topic for a brief moment, why is everyone so in love with "Bandages"? I'm just not getting it from the video I've seen. I'm still trying to decide what to devote my free Stride song to, but at this point, well... I think I might just wait to see what's announced on Friday. Some decent songs, but nothing that's blowing my skirt up.
Belgand said:I normally make that assumption, but then Requiem For a Dream proved that I can't rely on that metric alone. I think, however, that it is the sole exception.
