Deleting Songs from within the game? Nearly pointless. Honestly, in the dozens or hundreds of songs you have, how often are you deleting tracks?
It won't happen often, but it's good to have. If I could delete "Kung-Fu Fighting" I absolutely would. Or if not delete, then maybe "hide" it from Quickplay/World Tour.

I guess I was the only one to play the DLC yesterday, eh? Even the free one?

Dave would probably love most of that stuff. I think every song (with the exception of Carrie Underwood) was riddled with three-note chords. A couple of the X songs had Dave's dreaded GO chord though, so that might rule those songs out.

As we had speculated, there was really nothing exciting on guitar. The only song I didn't 5-star was Los Angeles, but I remember that song giving me problems in 80's as well.

Eh... nothing interested me enough to check 'em out. Anything good in RBN peer review coming down the line?
I grabbed a few songs from there yesterday to try out, but haven't gotten around to them yet. No real "major" artists, so to speak of. A lot of these songs have been here for a while, and were mentioned previously Here's the list of metal songs now in...

Playtest:
Adam Evil - Liberated by Blasphemy
Arsis - We Are the Nightmare
Boney Mean - The Ending Is Death
Bornholm - Where the Light Was Born
Clandestine - Disappear in You
Death Angel - Dethroned
Dimmu Borgir - The Serpentine Offering
Evile - Now Demolition
Evile - Infected Nation
Evile - Nosophoros
Imperative Reaction - Functional
Kittie - The Truth
Spiral Trance - The Me You See
Testament - Henchmen Ride

Review:
Aittala - Numb
bibleblack - I Am Legion
Evergreen Terrace - Sending Signals
Job for a Cowboy - Unfurling a Darkened Gospel
Lazarus A.D. - Thou Shall Not Fear
Midnight Ocelot - Rock Your Socks Off
Visible Spectrum - Rhythm Overdose

Someone should contact video games and anime companies, maybe they’ll get interested in offering their OST on RBN. That would be cool.

bibleblack? :lol

bibleblack is a Swedish heavy metal group founded in 2007 by King Diamond/Mercyful Fate guitarist Mike Wead and Memory Garden/Abstrakt Algebra guitarist Simon Johansson.[1][2] Their debut album, The Black Swan Epilogue, was released on May 4, 2009 by Vic Records.[1][2]

Not that other thing, perv. Besides that's "Bible Black".

I would but they aren't a band anymore. They released 2 albums and then broke up and formed 2 different (and neither nearly as good) bands. Could that be a reason they aren't in GH or RB? I don't know why when there are plenty of other long dead/disbanded groups with music in the games.

Seriously, I can't think of a band with music better suited for guitar/drum/band games:
I Believe in a Thing Called Love
Love is Only a Feeling
Is it Just Me? (Or am I all on my own Again?)
Hazel Eyes
Girlfriend (I love you)
One Way Ticket
Knockers

The money I'm willing to spend....!

I'd buy both full albums day one. I've been hoping for The Darkness since Guitar Hero 1.

Thanks for putting that together for me. A couple of those are decent...

This may make you worse than Costanza now.

I don't hate the song or anything, but I already own it in RB and I don't play it enough for me to think it'd be worth buying in GH as well. Harmonix gave it a ton of chords so chances of the GH version offering anything different is slim!

Simple Man <3

They really should have gone for something off a later album. We already know that they probably have the rights to I Know A Little; why not sub that in instead of making a near-complete RB rehash? It's just frustrating to see Activision play catch-up by releasing songs that are already two years old in That Other Game.

This post is so wrong.
I dunno. Back when RB2 was kind of new, my old Rock Band Band had it in the set list and I was bored shitless (both in practicing and playing it at the "gig"). It's the same little pattern over and over and the song lasts two minutes too long.

My "new" dog still won't let me sing and it's becoming annoying. The only thing I usually do on solo RB nights is sing/guitar. However, if I play anything remotely metal he'll think I'm yelling at him and do that whole "I'm going to jump on you and bark because you're mad at me and I don't know why" routine.

Gotta save stuff for GH6.

There are far worse songs than Simple man (pick any song from BSSM), I really enjoy playing it especially as a full band. I love playing it on drums, I don’t know why but I feel happy when I do.

For me it's one of those songs where even if the chart isn't crazy the song is good enough to make it worth playing/sing along to. There are a few of those in the game. One of the GnR songs (This I Love) doesn't have anything but vocals for like 2 minutes and I pick it all the time (I only play guitar).

Edit: Get out of my f'kn head Ashour.

The first Lynyrd songs sold extremely well.
Skynyrd is a timeless band that will always attract an audience. Lady Gaga is most likely a flash in the pan so it would make sense to get the songs out now while she is still popular.

I just want a Lynyrd pack. There's more Lady Gaga songs in a game called Rock Band, ffs. Something wrong about this picture.

Can be applied to a lot of shit in RB. Like the example I always use when I'm uselessly whining about something... fuckin' 6 SpongeBob tracks and only <insert number> from <insert band name>

Am I the only one who likes playing most of BSSM on drums? Breaking the Girl is awesome as shit and there are some other cool beats. It's no Grohl but it's not that bad...
