Costanza tier re-confirmed

According to you
I'm stupid,
I'm useless,
I can't do anything right.
According to you
I'm difficult,
hard to please,
forever changing my mind.
I'm a mess in a dress,
can't show up on time,
even if it would save my life.
According to you. According to you.

I'm so conflicted with Orianthi. On one hand, her brand of pop music is completely unrecognizable from so many others. On the other hand, goddamn can that girl play.

Godammit, No Doubt, really. Well there is no doubt I 'll be skipping next week. I was soooo hoping for Pantera, as I finally have some cash and time to play for the next week or so.

As long as Bungie still owns their IP's I see nothing wrong with the ActiBungBlizz thing.

I think that's her biggest problem. She doesn't have a genre that really works for her and she doesn't have any crossover appeal. If she was in a duet where she could focus on guitar and maybe some backup vocals she would fit in a lot better.

Can't listen to new music? Always has to be something you already know? There's a lot of stuff on there I had never heard that is pretty damned good, both musically and chartedly.

Dude, he is an indie hipster isn't he? Isn't finding music no one knows and then getting angry when its popular and not like the old stuff his job then? Doesn't make sense!

The majority of music on RBN is shitty. This makes it hard to feel motivated in regards to filtering through it hoping to find something good.

With discs I'm pretty much a charts over music guy, but with DLC I have more than enough shit. I don't need MySpace bands just cos they have a decent solo.

thanks a lot =) Yes it is, but I did not think it still costed $50...that is too much in the crisis I am now....and I have read people here have their cymbals in their closet or under their bed...so I think they could sell it to me at a more accessible price
I only know one guy in town that has an ION and he still has all three of his cymbals attached. Wish I could help you out more, man.

Then you obviously have different priorities. How often do you play RB nowadays?

I spent a good hour or so on youtube the other day checking out RBN tracks to compile a list of stuff to buy. If the song sounded good, I'd check out the chart a bit. If the chart sucked, I didn't put it on the list.

I want to come back from USA with a new home theater, a new laptop (finally), the Flip Mino HD Grecco recommended me, Super Street Fighter 4, Mario Galaxy 2 and FIFA World Cup....a friend is borrowing me some money for this so I can pay him by all this year.

Recomendations for the laptop and home theater would be truly appreciated.

I get super ultra excited for this trips to USA because I get the chance to get things I will never find here at unbelievable prices.

And what do you need in your Home Theater? And how much did you want to spend? I've got a pretty decent one for a small area, but it's pretty outdated. I think I paid like $4-500 for mine about 5 years ago. It's still going strong, but I obviously don't have HDMI on it. Probably need to get a new receiver sometime.

The fact you need to research the tracks for an hour says more about RBN than anything I can type. I'm all for you enjoying the service but there's an effort required that I'm unwilling to put in. Obviously if a band I know comes out for it I'll buy the tracks, but if I want new music RBN isn't the place to go for it.

What are you looking for in a laptop, Pete? Like what are you gonna use it for?
Im not really a guy who plays a lot on PC, but I edit video and sound a lot...apart from that I dont demand that much from a laptop...but considering I have so few chances to go to USA I want to get a good one. Im really confused lately, I loved those times when we simply had the choices: Pentium 1, 2, 3...but now I dont know which is more convenient.

I have a home theater I bought 8 years ago...it is really good but obviously it does not have HDMI and not a powerful sound as I would like...and the thing that annoys me the most, it lags in Rock Band when I sing with Dolby Digital on. My main objective with the home theater is making my RB experience better. I hope I can find something decent and modern at 300-400. Somebody here offered me a pretty cool LG home theater at $350...it has the SimplyLink thing that I can control with my TV remote control...considering I have a LG TV I thing the best thing would be buying a LG home theater but I do not know about its quality.

I know when I write a lot my english distorts worse than normal...sorry.

Thanks =)

Same thing could be said with the regular DLC. You're not going to purchase something you don't already know. There's no exposing you to new music via DLC.

when I wrote my first posts on GAF a lot of people bashed me for this...this frustrated me a lot and I always wondered if I can really be understandable when I write.....I hope some of this idiots got banned. I feel more confident lately thanks to all of you...I have practiced here more than I ever had elsewhere.

But at least I know every Friday something will be announced, and I can check it out. RBN shit just pops up all the time and is forgotten in days.

Shall I post up a list of all the RBN songs released every day? This information is also available on the Creators site, error420.com, RB.com, twitter, etc. etc. It's really not as complicated as you're making it out to be. You look at the list of songs released, go to youtube and listen to the songs for 10-30 seconds each, and if they suck, you move on. If they don't suck, you maybe listen to the whole song and download the demo to check the charts.

I don't know how well you wrote when you first got here, but I can tell you, your writing is just fine now. If you ever need to write in Spanish, a few of us can understand it.

That's your argument against RBN? SMH

Tom Petty: Rock Band?
Rocker TOM PETTY is considering adding his name to a new Rock Band video game - but he'll never allow his music to be used in commercials.

The I Won't Back Down hitmaker admits he's on board for fronting a new Rock Band, which enables gamers to play along with his hits.

He says, "If we want this music to be accepted by coming generations, it might be a necessity."

But Petty tells Parade magazine that doesn't mean he's about to relax his rules on using his tunes in commercials: "A lot of younger groups want to be on commercials, but I don't."

So how many band-specific RB games are there now?

I've never understood how people could not want to hear new music. I can understand not wanting to hear specific new music, I could've gone through life just fine without ever hearing Lady Gaga, but avoiding anything and everything new to you is just silly.

But this from someone who doesn't bother watching movies, so... *shrug*

Also, speaking of RBN:

-- You've Got Someone just cleared review, should be in the store tomorrow or Monday. (That makes 4 songs for me.)
-- The Apples in Stereo seem to be going at this whole-hog, I've counted four of their songs in playtest.
-- Definitely looks like all of Evile's Infected Nations is coming to RBN.
-- For an unspecified, probably RB3-related reason, every song has to have OD on every playable part, which is a win for me 'cause I thought it was really stupid that you couldn't and that people were omitting it.

I couldn't be happier with RBN. It's introduced me to a bunch of new bands I've never heard of before.

It's easy to keep track of everything that comes out with those sites that Shag mentioned. I usually stay on top of everything that gets released by queuing up a bunch of trial songs at work and download them when I get home. If I like what I hear in the demo I'll buy it or if I'm still on the fence at that point I'll go look for the songs/charts on YouTube. It's just another outlet to find new music and for me it's been great so far.

Edit: Charron, how's the RX Bandits song coming along? I know it will probably still be a while but I hope people aren't skipping over that song. I want to play it NOW!

Yup. I'm refreshing error420.com several times a day (even though I have them on my twitter). Kinda miffed that we haven't had an update in a bit, but I guess the XNA screwup over the weekend had something to do with the slight delay in things.

A list of songs mean nothing because they're all nobody bands no one has heard of. As opposed to real DLC which I usually know of. You're making this too complicated! You!

We're not supposed to be specific, but really Dave's the only one ignoring the big names RBN has. The Bandits are in as good a shape as any other Wavegroup track at this stage. Patience, young one. :)

What better things do you have to do all day? Other than just sit on here? You can listen simultaneously! Multi-tasking!
