Little girls crying over a popular act is as old as music itself. Should the Beatles be ostracized because they had similar reactions during their touring days?
 
So according to Pedro's twitter, as of 24 minutes ago Megadeth is "confirmado", which sounds good but then again I don't know Spanish.

I heard a boot from the show and it sounded like an awesome show. Doesn't surprise me in the least that they recorded it as well.

About mosh pits, I'm a punk at heart I guess. I love the pit, I think you guys see the shitty warped tour pits go to a show with like 800 people, shits awesome. A lot of the shows I saw that have great pits were like death by stereo, snapccase, hatebreed, etc.. so they were much smaller and not a sea of people getting knocked over. Its different when you go to big shows because none of those dudes have mosh etiquitte. That really makes the difference imo.

I have to agree, it was somewhat off putting seeing dudes crying on rock in rio. I actually have a good friend from Chile and he confirms all concerts there have tears.

Punk pits are fuckin' great. If someone falls, everyone tries to make sure they are ok and back on their feet. Actually, thinking about it the best pits I've been in were for Tsunami Bomb and Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

Guitar Hero publisher Activision may be scaling back its plans for the music game in 2010, but it may have at least one more band-centric effort in the works—Guitar Hero: Red Hot Chili Peppers.

According to details from a survey forwarded to Kotaku, Activision appears to be gauging interest in a Guitar Hero: Red Hot Chili Peppers concept. Similar to previous games that highlight rock bands like Metallica, Van Halen and Aerosmith, the Red Hot Chili Peppers branded version is pitched as highlighting the band's greatest hits and songs from guest artists chosen by the headlining band.

"Celebrate the entirety of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' life, starting with their early days in LA, to their famous Hyde Park concert to their highly anticipated new studio album," notes the purported survey. "Discover the story behind their legendary music as you unlock interviews, retrospectives, concert footage and other commentary."

The survey specifically names albums By The Way, Californication, Give It Away and the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "upcoming studio album to be released in 2011."

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' music has appeared previously in the series, with individual songs popping up in Guitar Hero III and the Guitar Hero: On Tour games. The band's breakout album Blood Sugar Sex Magik appeared as a full album download for competitor Rock Band.

While Activision has prepped us to expect fewer Guitar Hero games in 2010, another band-based release certainly doesn't sound out of the question. We knew about Guitar Hero: Van Halen well in advance of the game's confirmation and release, so an early leak wouldn't surprise us.

I wonder who would develop GH:RHCP. Neversoft is done with GH in a few months and VV will be busy making GH7 for every platform possible.

I think that Neversoft is going to make MW3. IW will probably shut down due to all the drama and NS is not closing so it makes alot of sense!

Maybe now enough assholes have left iW that MW3 PC will have dedicated servers. The rumour thread for the Black Ops game pretty much said everything we know to be true and that'll it'll have dedicated servers.

woohoo!! yeah!! thanks a lot!! yes, "confirmado" means "confirmed"

It is so cool! at 7pm they were already selling tickets! I went there but it was too late for today but...

Lots of people were still there, putting big pieces of paper everywhere giving notice that tickets for Megadeth are being sold again! I hope to have pictures of this to share tomorrow...it really touched my heart seeing people that normally are considered so violent...being very happy and united because of the big news today.

We are now planning a BIG welcome to Megadeth on Monday...everybody is so excited.

I dont know if in 3 days we can buy tickets to fill all the arena...but people here are determined to do so! It is the first time I see tickets are being sold 3 days before a big concert like this. Only in Ecuador =/

I cant describe how I feel...just when I lost all my hope and thought the dream was over...

Im so so happy that I cant be mad at costanza's stupidity.

And obviously Im so thankfull to people here that cared about this....I often used this place to take out all the fury I had inside, somehow this helped.

I definitely want to meet shaggy in Orlando even if I have to communicate with signals with him.
