Rock Band Platform |OT|

Ok, second attempt at performing in front of a real crowd is tonight. (First attempt back in December fell through.) While you guys are arguing and being idiots over GH I'm going out and playing actual music thanks to Rock Band.


If our bassist fucks this up I'm gonna be pissed.

on my pre-30 Bucket List is to play on stage. I almost did it to as a singer for a ska band, but it fell through because I couldn't practice enough.

I've played in front of people not actually in the band only once before, and that was a cover and as a stand-in drummer. (And just one song. And there wasn't a stage.) Was a fun take on Jackson Browne, but for once I'll be playing originals.

The Beast and the Demi-God Of Rock have a battle. The Demi-God loses, gets banished to a cave and his guitar mysteriously ends up in another cave. Obviously big trouble.

So, you play as the characters, play missions with them and you earn Powerstars. Enough Powerstars means your characters transform to their superpower selves.

Johnny Napalm (who plays 'What Do I Know' in Quest Mode) earns Powerstars by getting a 3x Multiplier or more. Enough Powerstars, and he transforms to 'Goblin Johnny', with the aformentioned 'Speed Freak' power.

I did a few times but only once to a 600+ people. We weren't really a band just 12 friends going on and off the stage playing covers 5 friends at a time.

I did vocals on a some songs (Maiden, Guns, Metallica, Savatage, Dream Theater, Craig David lol and others), Drums on 4 songs and played guitar on 3 songs.

We played for a good 5+ hours. The last hour we started taking requests, we even learned some songs on the spot.

We were playing to help another friend promote his new coffee shop. His shop was opening beside this small stage, he managed to book it for that day. We got paid 2 free drinks :lol but it was a lot of fun. I wish that I can still do something like that now.

I just got it a few minutes ago, and yes it's amazing. Plus I don't have to worry about losing loot when I break something in half.

Besides, I'll be irritated for a half a second if Paradise City isn't in RB3.

My GH5 was never calibrated in the first place

I could never get a single game on 360 calibrated properly (TB:RB, RB2, GH5, GH3) yet didn't even have to calibrate on PS3. Superior console confirmed.

Rock Band 3 should have an open world where you can explore around the city, locate gigs, earn reputation, drive around, fly to other states once you're good enough, etc.
