Ridley327 said:Someone had suggested in the annoucement thread that they could solve any potential issues they could have with a RB2 export by including the code for it in with copies of RB3. I smell a Gamestop offer in the making!
DuckRacer said:Seriously I read IGN's Motorstorm: Apocalypse (omg) preview and there were like over a dozen grammatical and spelling errors. I don't think they even proofread.
Space Cadet said:Or just do it through their music store like RB1.
Hahaha. that shit be gangsta, yo.BigBlackGamer said:yo diz game waz announced itz for p-triple. peace.
Ridley327 said:I doubt they would want a repeat of dudes going to Blockbuster and renting RB1 and being out $50 as a result.

Baker said:I probably won't even export RB2. I haven't played an on-disc song in at least a year besides the one time Dave chose Aqualung online.
Space Cadet said:Doubtful, but would be completely awesome.
Charron said:They could just work with some RBN authors and easily get the 20 freebies out of that. Wouldn't even need to do extra work, just give some teams advance copies.
That was just a lie.Space Cadet said:I think that the 20 free songs were originally supposed to be on the disc, but HMX didn't complete them in time. They've had two years so I doubt it will happen again.

Maybe if you like Guns N Roses :/XShagrath said:Someone on another forum said that some random HMX'er (that I don't have on my twitter) said that "They're glad they're saving the good stuff for E3".
If this is the bad stuff, then next week is gonna be orgasmic!

I'm glad we saved the big stuff for #e3. Just sayin'. #RockBand3

They're definitely saving their big artists for E3 that's for sure. Who those artists will be are still a mystery. Your scenario would make sense. Hopefully you're right.birdman said:You guys maybe think they're sitting on Led Zep or something? It would make the hefty NDA amount make a whole lot more sense. The whole actually teaching kids how to play guitar may have swayed Jimmy Page into signing off on it.
Yeah, this is what I was saying when I was nerd-raging about how HMX dropped the ball on drums when RB2 came out.Charron said:Drums might be. If you author properly, the game would know whether a hit is a "pad" (snare/tom) or cymbal (hi-hat/crash/ride) based on what you animated it to be. So it could figure out Pro mode from that.
A good song is a good song. Good thing I never played Burnout Paradise, I guess?corkscrewblow said:and Paradise City is dead to me after playing Burnout Paradise. UGH I never wanna hear it again. Good GnR song like Civil War instead please.
Gawd... I've been listening to the Alt. Hard Rock station on the Slacker Radio Droid app a lot the last couple days, and the Deftones are the only band besides Linkin Park that I've used "Ban Band" on.XShagrath said:I'm too busy with GD to play Deftones right now.

I agree with this. Though I liked it at one point, there came a time where I just cannot listen to it any more.TheGreatDave said:The opening notes of Paradise City make me wanna vom.

Pfft... Calling a song "played out" is played out.TheGreatDave said:God tier poster.
Pretty sure defending a played out song is played out too. This is exactly what happens when a song gets played too much.TAJ said:Pfft... Calling a song "played out" is played out.

I've played pretty much everything but the 21st Century Breakdown album on drums and it's fantastic. Not sure what your main instrument is, but if you like the drums, these songs are a blast.BenjaminBirdie said:I'm sure I missed them but, any RBGD impreshes? BenjaminBirdie said:They're pretty okay. I like Dookie a lot. Question, does Plus include all the DLC already released for plain old RB2?
Yeah. I think it gives you a code to download the 6 tracks that were already released and a code for a free export.BenjaminBirdie said:They're pretty okay. I like Dookie a lot. Question, does Plus include all the DLC already released for plain old RB2?
