only times nadal has won a grand slam final when losing the first set are 2005 and 2006 french opens. not looking good for rafa.

I just realized that the last 6 sets that Djokovic has won against Nadal have all been 6-3

Sometimes I hate stupid statistics like there's this tennis twitter account that tweeted 'Nole is the 1st person to beat Federer and Nadal in Grand Slams'.

I replied 'No, DelPo did it first'

And he replied 'different order'.

Seriously what kind of stats was that?

Where do you guys get these stats from?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rafael_Nadal_career_statistics#Singles_performance_timeline

But a lot of people remember these kinds of stats from over the years. As for the finals record, I remember hearing it on TV (around the last couple of tournaments)

Fake edit:

I posted in the tennis thread about it:

Anyway, another staggering stat from the Djoker: he has a 100% win-rate in finals after winning the first set.
Federer: 86%
Nadal: 86%
Murray: 81%

There is a brah on MTF that is an ATP stats genius.

Nadal back in the game. This game looks like it will be decided in the 5th set.

Edit: Maybe I apoke to early. What an awful play from Nadal.

Novak seriously needs to stop playing around. HOLD AND BREAK. Nadal is obviously very shaky right now and Novak is taking that for granted and not seizing upon a rare opportunity to bury him.

Well, he's not Gulbis. Don't be so hard on him.
