Man these Russians thrown into a few weeks training and then told to attack the Ukrainians with T60 tanks could potentially make the LNR and DPR look like pros.

They're being sent to die, basically the same strategy as ww2, just throw wave after wave of men to die until their opposition's position is overrun, but now they're up against defenders not invaders and the defenders can rain death down from miles out of range and have man portable tank destroyers that can knock out a tank a mile away.
Plus when javelins are a match for t90s, t60s are going to be a turkey shoot.
Unless Putin has some actual plan underneath this madness, sending a million men to be maimed or die is going to cause havoc on the economy and social structure of Russia
 
Russians are always the bad guys in movies and video games for a reason. Just nuke the country we don't need Russia anymore, I don't think they contributed to anything that I care about anyways.

They will not win that way, though. They are dealing with western intelligence, western weapons and the west keeps training the Ukrainian Military.
The West is teaching Ukraine how to war, completely. I think they can grind Russia to a halt, in this war. It's only a matter of time.

With Himars being brought ever closer to the constantly shifting front line, can you imagine arriving off some cramped train to a town you don't know after spending hours in total misery longing for home and the first thing that greets you is a rain of missiles taking out the rear staging area, cause US sat com has been tracking all "combat" troop movements and fed these details to the ground forces, that's what's awaiting these miserable fucks, instant death and if they do manage to assemble and get assigned areas they'll move to a front line that's under constant bombardment from precision artillery..

What a way to go out, shredded to pieces for a war you don't understand ordered by a delusional billionaire sitting thousands of miles away, I'd almost feel sorry for them then I remember they're Russians.

They all seem to have loved their 'strong man' for years, and this is what you get when you support and cheer on a person like that. These weak little men who pretend to be strong are always going to end in failure - and in the case of these Russians, death.

I don't think it will either. The older tanks are just rolling coffins against javalins, and hoping to punch through with just infantry is suicidal. Like I said unless putin has an actual plan to go with this madness, this will just be a turkey shoot, soviet tactics, forgetting (wantonly ignoring? )those tactics only worked because mustangs were keeping junkers off their advance

Everything happening in this war points to Russia's complete overestimation of its own abilities, and total underestimation of the west's resolve.

Mobilisation is an incredibly stupid thing to do, as it will just mean a massive increase in equipment pumped into Ukraine by NATO. Russia can put 300,000 untrained light infantry into the field, we can put 500 Abrams tanks in there.

This war is only going to end one way, and fuck Putin for not admitting it. Thousands upon thousands are going to die at the altar of his ego, until someone kills him.
 
Apparently military commanders have been begging Putin for weeks to allow them to retreat from the west bank of the Dnieper because they're essentially sitting ducks and logistics are almost zero, but Hittler's Little Helper continues to deny their requests.

BTW. There are rumors that there was a coup in China, with Xi Jinping now in house arrest.
If true, it might be interesting to see how the new Chinese administration deals with Russia and it's war.

It's always worth bearing in mind that the first purpose of nuclear weapons is deterrent. Nobody wants to actually use them because it not only inevitably dooms them but also their country and their loved ones. But there's always that tiny, tiny chance that someone 'might' use them which absolutely nobody is prepared to gamble on. That's why nuclear-enabled countries don't get invaded. That's why Putin is getting away with what he's doing. If he didn't have nukes NATO would have stormed into Moscow and dragged the little shit out of his bunker months ago.

There's a lot of assholes in Russia, but there's good people too.

It's easy to say 'just overthrow the government bro' without understanding what a well-oiled propaganda machine Putin has crafted during his long reign, on top of a regime which quashes even minor dissent with harsh punishment. Russia has its breaking point and we'll probably see it soon, but escape is sadly the best option for these poor devils until we see huge and I mean huge nationwide disillusionment with Putin. And at that point Putin's own men will probably be the ones acting against him in a desperate bid to save whatever of their country is left.

Both sides are regrouping, and Ukraine is doing some mopping up - as in fish in a barrel. Russian soldier loses a day or so ago were 550 in a day, with 18 tanks destroyed.

So it's quiet in terms of fronts moving but the slaughter continues.

There are Russians that don't and areas were putinis unpopular, guarantee those groups are being targeted for conscription , hence why so many from the far east are being pulled, like I said before putins found away to death squad his internal enemies without death squads
