SaltyBet is a website where you can gamble away your (fictitious) money on fighting game matches. It started off a site to bet on matches from fighting game tournaments like EVO, CEO, UFGT, SCR, NCR and other big FGC events. But is now more known for MUGEN matches where it gained more followers and more $$$. What is the Dream Cast Casino?
It is 24/7 MUGEN CPU matches. Competitors are chosen from a pool of over 1,600+ hilarious broken and poorly rendered characters from all your favorite games, anime and cartoons. And DBZ.
What is the Shaker Classic?
It is an event run every Thursday night around 6 pm (GMT - 7) that is part of a large 256-character tournament. There are 8 pools filled with 32 in each bracket with 1 pool streamed and played out every week. Matches are played on a best of 5, single elimination format. There are no absolute overpowered characters allowed so don't count on Rare Akuma won't be the victor.

MUGEN is a fighting game engine and development tool designed to allow amateur hobbyists and those who are more artists than programmers to create fighting games. In most cases, people create individual characters and collect all the characters they can find from other people.

Wait, there are real and fake versions?
Yes, there are multiple variants of characters and some even use almost the same sprite, you will need to know the difference by way of intro, color, attire or just plain luck. The difference between real and fake can mean ridiculously good like real Bra which has lots of HP and Power, and fake Bra who is completely worthless.
What are the salt mines and how do I get out of it?
Salt mines are where the poor reside after (not) betting on DBZ and losing all their money.
The best way to get out is to look for upsets, because of the economy ruled by the 1% odds can be severely hampered where the best you can get is $1 when you pick the favorites. So bet the underdog and hope to win. Of course, don't bother if the underdog is going against a MUGEN God like Rare Akuma.
