I honestly feel like this was a way better character pack than the last one. So many truly hilarious and unpredictably awesome characters that don't conform to any one aesthetic or playstyle.

Fake Kanna ended up winning 2 rounds and a close final round before dying to Sailor Mars' super. Fake Kanna actually has a super that does like 90% damage. But she only used it once,

Sailor Mars is like the worst Sailor Scout not named Usagi

Fake Kanna vs (legit) Sailor Mars. Mars goes up 2-0 then Fake Kanna does what fake Kanna does best and clutches out two wins (the first is with a full screen unblockable feathers super for 90% damage, the second being in the single most clutch fashion I've seen on SaltyBets). Third round goes down to the wire before Mars decides to use an Instant Kill because Mars, bitch.

... and back to the mines!

On Gao's battle I put 1/2 of my money on him. However, I didn't notice that they had switched positions. (Gao was player 2 but for some reason he was on the left side of the screen)

So yeah, I lost my money in a pretty stupid way. And of course, I got mad and started to put heavy bets everywhere... a few minutes later I was on the mines.

Productive day.

Dammit! I took a break and just missed betting on Tensi :/

Well on the plus I was just in time to see her pull a touch of death combo on a full health character (character was Plastic Man, IIRC he has fairly normal health)
Granted it was on Round 3 where she would have had a ton of meter but still.

Yeah, the last one was a little too colored by Cherry's particular tastes. This one just has all kinds of stuff.

Salty Bet will not be complete until we have everything :p

Son of a bitch.

I'm getting tired of this. Every bet I make loses, and if I happen to be on the right side I only make a dollar. I've gone through the same cycle of winning on one long shot, then systemically losing it all on small bets that never work out. Rinse and repeat.

I don't know how people end up with so much money...

Well, I think the primary problem is easily identified :p

The way to make a lot of money... Or my way, anyway, as there was discussion about this on the Salty forums at one point, is to know the characters and go all in on every match where you've seen both of them yourself and think you know who will win. After being broke for a long time, I started doing this. I just went all in on (almost) everything until I broke a million.

Of course this led to me losing hundreds of thousands several times, but now I've got the most money of anyone, so I guess I knew what I was doing? :p

Well, it is a rather different skillset than the other parts of character creation.

Making a character strong is easier than making them smart :p

I was exaggerating. Thing is I'm losing 25 bucks if I bet on the wrong one and only gaining a couple of dollars if I'm right. So I'm always progressively losing money unless I get really lucky. Fun to watch still, but I haven't broken out of the cycle in weeks.

I'll try to keep going all in. But when I do that, shit like the Killer Whale vs Dio happen. Luck hates me.

If you're consistently close to your bailout, it's totally pointless to play it smart. Upsets happen more often than the odds suggest and some characters are extremely inconsistent.

It's kinda hilarious how almost every upset I've seen in the last 2 hours or so I've managed to either not bet on or be on the wrong side of (fucking Tales character countering everything).
