I actually got into scripting in MUGEN before I started seriously playing fighting games. Reverse engineering some games in emulators and combing through a bunch of data in RAM to replicate the characters taught me a lot about how they work.

Just rummaging through old files now. Too bad I had the attention span of a gnat and never finished anything to a satisfactory degree.

That's not a bad idea (though I'd probably up the price for adding a song to something like 300k-500k).

When the forums were up, he also replied to someone who suggested that the list of bettors for matches should be divided into two columns so that we can easily see the top bidders for each team. He said that it was a good idea.

It'll be interesting to see how the site evolves over time, given its current popularity.

Yeah, I really hope he allows people to spend money on things to try to get money out of the "economy." It's really hard to climb out of the mines when millionaires are going all in so even if you make the right bet you're making like $3. There's upsets and everything else, but it's gotten significantly harder to get out of the mines than before. I did like the idea of being able to pay money to have a song played or added to the playlist, I would bust ass to get a couple tracks in the rotation if I could for example.

I think the shittier ones (the non-stop charge, ohko beam ones) are based on Super Butoden 3 (SNES game), so that would explain those. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

One of the biggest rules about the whole thing comes from matches with the dumbest fucking AI going at it and now because there's competency (with the same kind of bullshit everyone enjoyed about the game in the first place), you're going to cry foul? Most of the DBZ characters are ripped or customized from older 2D Dragonball Fighters or custom dbz mugen games and they are all usually designed the same size as each other, probably because so they will have more space to do their flying-around-the stage-typical-dbz shit.

You can make your characters in mugen bigger if you wanted to by a simple text change.
