to be fair both fighters were very good and going into the match it could have gone either way... i am starting to think I should just bet the person I think is the underdog though as they seem more likely to win tonight lol

From what I can remember, the "bad" pocket fighters are Morrigan, Shin Gouki, Zangief, and to a lesser extent, Ibuki.

I'm starting to get a little bored with it, really. I mean, I'm still on it a lot, but more and more I realize that I'm just gonna keep getting up to the same 1.5k or so point before I lose it all again. It's a little repetitive, and the Illuminati constantly betting millions on the sure things makes it nearly impossible for the rest of us to get any more than $1 from them.

Yep, that's what I usually do. Keep it on the background checking it from time to time. But I must admit, it's quite frustrating to get out of the mines. They really should do something about it, maybe the introduction of several fakes or some super buff for low tier characters.

there are talks of adding seasons that would reset the money you can bet (but keep an ongoing record of all of your money for the leaderboards)
it would give people in the salt mines a free get out once when the seasons reset, and make it so you don't have horrible horrible odds on sure things as people wouldn't be able to dump 1+mil each on a match and really skew the odds.
Well it was all new at first ad everything was hilarious. I think there will be posting spikes during the tournaments.
He should add some Dong Dong Never Dies characters or maybe just do a Dong Dong special tournament or other games (Justin Wong did a Naruto CPU tournament and it got tons of viewers). The betting idea is popular, special events would make it even more popular.
if he ends up making more money from illunati than it costs to run, and he does add seasons, he could perhaps add something like the top 5 people at the end of each season get a prize. I mean if he gets quite a bit extra money throwing something like a 3ds as the first place prize could get a lot of people playing very frequently

It's a little depressing when you realize that 70-80% of the bets on the "sure thing"s come from the richest three or four people. Which makes it impossible for the rest of us to get any more than a buck or two even when we risk everything. =/
