Six unimaginative and unfunny videos at the link.

Oh Samsung, never change...

Samsung should beware. I'm no Apple fan but my Galaxy Note 2 is falling apart and my next phone will NOT be Samsung. Wretched build quality tbh

What else is new. Who are they targeting? Apple fans? By insulting them? Meh. If I were to ever switch from Apple, (lol) Samsung would not be my first choice.

I've had a Samsung Galaxy for 2-3 years now, and it's still going strong. Dunno about the build of the Note 2.

I have dropped my phone plenty of times aswell. No cracks. :)

Those ads must be working because people seem to buy the shitty samsung galaxy phones when there are way better alternatives like the HTC M8 and the LG G2.

I don't care who the brand is, I always find this stuff offputting. Because there are people that love those products that you are mocking (not a good way to convince them to switch over by insulting them, and for those that already dislike Apple, it's just a circlejerk). To be fair, Apple started this shit with their "I'm a PC and you are a Mac" ads. Well, okay they weren't the first to do those kind of ads. But it's hard to feel 100% sorry for them when they did that (plus some of their other BS on the legal side of things).

This types of ads were pretty cool back when the s3 was coming out. Now they just feel tired and cringe worthy.

Yikes, awkward is spot on - the videos just aren't funny at all.

Feel sorry for the two guys, hope they got paid well.

I feel like the Mac vs PC ads were clever when they first started.

I don't understand the commercial where the lady puts her s5 on airplane mode and gets a day battery life with a few percent left. She can't use her fucking phone, how is it any better than the girl sitting down by an outlet to charge hers?

Is the marketing director at Samsung a spurned 13 year old girl? "YOU'RE POPULAR, SO I'M GOING TO MAKE FUN OF YOU." Bright idea.

How about releasing great handsets and let them speak for themselves, is that hard for their marketing gurus to comprehend?

I think they were really genius marketing, no doubt. But can't say I'm a fan of them, personally. But hey, results are results. I will say I find these ads more obnoxious (as they are cringe).

My Note 3 is still running perfectly after about a year and it's the best phone I've ever owned. Show Apple fans what Samsung Android phones can offer them and they will be more likely to switch..this is just the wrong way to go about it. Insulting them won't work.

This is really bad. They make fun of smartwatches in general and then tout that they did it first and pls buy them.

WAT

I wish I had gone for the Galaxy tbh. The Note line is really too big, clumsy and unwieldy. My phone randomly shuts off, screen randomly stops responding at times, sometimes I have to pull the battery out to turn it off as it'll completely freeze. It's a total MESS. I'm looking at the HTC One at the end of the year or maybe iPhone if there's finally a way to get around being forced to use iTunes

So stupid. Weren't even funny and didn't even make a point.

These ads are suppose to make people switch? "Yeah, let's create ads that make references to 'phone war' points that general consumers won't understand on top of making fun of them and never saying anything about the products the ads are actually for. That will get them to switch!"

Dumb.

You don't need to use iTunes for anything anymore unless you want to sync non iTunes music to your phone. I just use spotify for everything and haven't used iTunes except for an occasional restore if things are acting up

From what I can remember, Apple's old ads didn't directly mock PC users, just the platform as a whole. Samsung on the other hand...

I agree with the OP, unimaginative... just like Apples recent products... woh, deep!

Was bored after the second ad so did not bother watching the others.

Yeah that's very true. It was more of a general "PC vs Mac" thing. Although it did piss off a lot of PC users, since there are many different kind of PC's under that umbrella. But I do agree that these ads are more targeted.

FWIW I had my Note 2 since early last year and it has survived a ton of abuse and numerous drops (with no case or screen protector), including one just today. Yes the body is chipped and bruised but the screen is intact and it's working. It's not like the iPhone can't break from a single fall, so I don't think there's a practical difference in build quality. Cosmetic difference, sure. But I have no complaints about durability.

FWIW I don't even have iTunes installed.

Oh really? Thanks for the info :) I may actually go back to Apple after all these years, my main issue was always iTunes. The camera on the 6 looks to be far superior to the HTC so I'm leaning that way now!

I think it's more making fun of Apple touting all these features as new and groundbreaking when other phone manufacturers (like Samsung) have had their own versions of them for years (things like big screens, smart watches etc)

Everyone loved Apple's "I'm a Mac/I'm a PC" ads, but hates it when the tables are turned. Nothing new here.

Like what ya like and don't be a hater. Life is much more peaceful that way.

I love my Galaxy S3 haven't seen much of a reason to upgrade really but I'm just really satisfied with the phone a few extra specs don't do it for me. As for the ad it's just dumb and makes the company look stupid. Be happy the brand is popular and stop mocking the comp.

these ads are not good.

the ones they did a couple of years ago ('the next big thing') were great!

my Note 2 is in great shape despite flying across a kitchen from 7ft high atop a fridge thru no fault of my own. Note 4 is my next.

Bullshit.

My wife drove over hers with our car and all it needed was a new rear-cover. It still works fine. I have a Galaxy S3 since release that still works perfectly and it has met the pavement a couple of times.

The ads hoewever, are stupid.
