Samsung ads mock Apple’s event, iPhone 6, Apple Watch

The very last thing I saw in the last video was "The next big thing is already here". They could have just used that as a static ad and saved time and money.

I've hated every thing I've ever had from Apple.

Shuffle
iPhone

I hated my HTC when I had it (not as much as Apple stuff)
Sensation

I'm just ok with my Samsung
Note (original)

I miss my old Nokias

My Note 2 never ceased to impress me everyday. It's an old phone by fast moving tech standard, but mods shows that you can teach an old dog a new trick.

Thought HTC s supposed to be garbage with bad battery life?

Shhh, we don't talk about him anymore.

The HTC is one of the best phones out now sans the rear camera performance, power button placement and slightly smaller battery (still good).

The first and last videos were very stupid and hypocritical. They rest in the middle were on point though.

While the ads were convincing but after using the Note 2 for awhile I just want a multitasking phone that fits better in my hand. Any recommendations?

I imagine these ads would be funny in a parallel world, where Samsung does not hire a wet turd to write the scripts.

And there is also something incredibly unsettling about simply mocking Apple. How much "innovation" can Samsung claim there's been between Galaxy S1 and S5?

I usually find some of these videos hilarious when they can be done right, but these were just unfunny and unintelligible. The image above was better than all those videos combined.

Ugh, these are horrible and unfunny adverts. What, may I ask, are Samsung's mighty innovations in the last few years then?

I have a Galaxy 3 but am not really a fan and I'm jumping ship to Xperia when I upgrade.

Yeah, mildly funny. I like the actors.....

Do these ads work? Somehow I feel like giving your competitor so much attention and importance is counter intuitive.

I'm a big fan of 'tit for tat' advertising, but these aren't funny or biting enough.

The Audi BMW 'checkmate' ads, now THOSE were funny and clever.

I think these things are amusing, sometimes because of how spot on they are and sometimes because of how cringeworthy they are.

Either way, i kinda feel bad for Samsung. It's sad that they try their hardest to mock Apple, but at the same time, they wish they were like Apple and try to be like them.

(I haven't watched this set yet.)

Samsung should beware. I'm no Apple fan but my Galaxy Note 2 is falling apart and my next phone will NOT be Samsung. Wretched build quality tbh

Ugh, this. My Galaxy Note 2 10.1 tablet runs like shit. On the positive side, I can toss it around without worrying about it (it helps I got it for free). On the other hand, my God, it's annoying to use.

Not that iOS hasn't bored me to death already. I think my next phone will be Z3. Hopefully it's better than Samsung products but with that Android customization.

This is a good ad if they are using it on websites like gaf(in before the ad appears in this thread). The real problem is that my dad has no idea what this means. But then again the people that really wanted a big screen more than anything else already have a note so sometimes I wonder who they are advertising to. If you've wanted a bigger screen and stuck with the iPhone for a long time like myself, why the hell would I buy a note when apple is releasing a big screen iPhone?

I can sorta understand sporting rivalries heck even console wars but phone wars?

It's just amazingly pathetic from all sides.

I feel like the Mac vs PC ads were clever when they first started.

I don't understand the commercial where the lady puts her s5 on airplane mode and gets a day battery life with a few percent left. She can't use her fucking phone, how is it any better than the girl sitting down by an outlet to charge hers?

They weren't clever at all. They were as bad as this.

All understandable..

Phones are expensive, extremely personal and a statement of your taste, and you only have one at a time...if anything "phone wars" makes a lot of sense.

Console wars? Nostalgia, wanting one centralized console for all your games..especially with digital and especially with MS and Sony requiring paid online (hose gonna pay for 2 online services?)...not as good of an argument as phones but still, understandable.

Samsung and all those other companies that just pour money into ads knocking Apple need to take that money and invest it into their flagship product.

All it does is reinforce the insecurities about Apple in general.
