it's so bad really. I honestly am with them for the unlimited plan. There's ONE spot in the city here that feels like 3G LOL. its at the light. idk why it's so good there. anywhere else it's sloooww to a crawl.

I have Sprint in UT and I haven't had a single issue with my service ever. I don't turn my 4G on ever since I am not in locations that have it that often though.
Is there a difference with the SIII between carriers other than how well their services work?
I currently have the EVO 4G but my contract is pretty much over and the SIII looks really sleek. I am still debating on whether I want this phone or not.
FYI: I went into a Sprint store today and they told me that they aren't getting any of the SIII phones until next week because preorders exceeded the amount they were expecting.

I'm still using my EVO 4G on Sprint as well, running Cyanogenmod 7 on it since the ROM came out and it's been working great - and still does - I just need a change. I never really bothered with the WiMax 4G, even when I lived in Richmond, VA that's covered in it I was never able to keep 4G signal inside buildings. I'm a little worried about that with Sprint's upcoming LTE 4G too due to the wavelength they're using for it, but we'll see.

Ha ha, mine isn't anywhere close to dead yet. The phone definitely doesn't seem as speedy as it used to be though. The phone is a brick for how many times I have dropped mine on the pavement.
As of this morning mine is out for delivery. Yay!

Tons of people over at xda are reporting there's being shipped. The vast majority being the blue model though and only a handful of the white ones. Unfortunately for me I pre ordered a white model.

Just tried it, its very fast but the design is horrible quite frankly. Saw the white one, i put the Galaxy Nexus, the SII above it design wise....

Going from the GS2 to the GS3, I thought the same but you get used to it and then start to feel that it's a great design. And even though I have a case, I don't think I'll ever use it apart from when I go out to the pub.
I've had Sprint for a long time in the Chicago area, unlimited data plus employee discount from a job i quit 3 years ago is so good. Never had any problems, never drop calls. I have an iPhone 4S and the 3G coverage is good, the actual speed.. not so much.
On topic my girl is going to t-mobile to get a GS3 on her lunch break, hopefully.

Swap from a big sim you already have service with AT&T on? Yeah they will do that. Or you can cut it and use an adaptor.
