if you dont mind me asking, where did you buy it and how much was it?
I got it at the sprint store and paid like $35 for it.

Unless that changed, Triangle Away doesn't work on the S3 (yet).
bought the official flip case today, love the feel of the cover and the extra weight it gives the phone. GS3 looks so classy with it.
I just got mine yesterday as a birthday present.
I took some side by side pictures of the original and the flip I will post in a minute. It adds just a subtle extra weight and a bit of thickness, and its really nice with it on. Very importantly, the camera lens is no longer convex from the phone, but subtly concave to protect it. I will have to drill a hole for the notification LED but that should be easy.

Don't you have to launch from recovery every time you restart your phone to use the custom kernel though?Supposedly you can reset the counter even if it does go up.
On the Verizon version, they figured out how to bypass to bootloader to load a custom kernel. Hell yeah!

I thought they hadn't figured out a way to reset the counter yet. Good news if true though.

Works for every version of the S3 including Verizon. $2 on Google Play but the apk is there for free.
Layman's terms?
So my carrier accidentally gave me a 32gb S3 when I was only eligible for a 16gb one. I'm elated.

if you have to get your phone repaired, for warranty purposes, they check to see if you put another rom on it. You can flash a stock rom and unroot, but the phone's recovery firmware keeps track of everything. That apk erases that information.
I know I was bitching yesterday about how Samsung doesn't use external sd card space for apps but someone had created a script that fixes that. Just have to wait for developers to add it to their ROMs
My charge problem has mysteriously vanished (for now). Charging takes no time at all now.
The greatest feature I find quite useful is using voice commands to unlock your phone. It trumps face unlock by a mile.

Same, its weird.
How long is it taking to charge now?
Im waiting for my battery to drain to see how long it takes to fully charge.
How? Can you explain please?
How is Smart Stay for everyone? It seems to work like shit for me. Even when I'm in a "well lit room".

It doesn't work for me! Is there a way to turn it on?
I just found out you can take a picture via voice commands too. Say shoot with the camera open.
dat technology!
It's in settings under display. I don't know if it's turned on by default but it's certainly not working for me.

i hate the capacitive buttons on this so so much. i cant wait to root this and just use the onscreen stock buttons
Some people are saying they're losing 4G capability when switching to aokp. What they have so far is promising but I would much rather wait until things are stable.AOKP on VZW!

Seems like someone on there got JB running on a VZW S3 too.
Hmm my sister needs to get a new phone and shes thinking of getting an iPhone.
She said she would take my iPhone 4S off me as well as £60 in return for buying me a samsung galaxy s3.
I'm really considering this, the size of the phone is a real plus feature for me as i'm kind of a tall guy (6"4) and thus have big hands. I find the iPhone 4S to be way too small for me. One thing that is putting me off the s3 though is the resolution of the screen. I'm yet to see an s3 in person but I have got so used to the retina display on the iPhone that I fear anything less.
I heard the screen uses pen tile technology, is it really noticeable during use? If not then i'm probably going to snag it.
the backup assistant plus thing is driving me nuts
I've turned off everything (pictures, music, contacts) and set it to only backup between midnight at 6am and it still tries to back shit up several times a day
How is the camera on this phone? Is it good?
