Half the story? The original article does have Bernie's campaign apologizing and all that stuff, but it still doesn't make the initial event any better. All it does is show that they realized that they fucked up when they kicked those guys out. His campaign keeps making the same damn mistake over and over. They never should have done it in the first place.
Please stop.As to be expected of the worshippers of yet another cismale white devil.
White "progressives" are the ones with the shitty reactions to BLM causing this image problem for Bernie in the first place, but no one is arguing that all white progressives are a problem like you seem to have imagined.hmm...
"Literally no one"
You don't have to pretend, every single Bernie thread on GAF is eventually up-ended with a "white progressives are the problem" post, if it isn't the OP itself.
Please stop.
No. No, no, no. Sanders supporters do not get to call for progressive, incremental or small steps towards change. Anyone who doesn't feel the Bern has been told in countless Gaf threads that since "insert candidate here" doesn't promise the exact perfect solution, then we shouldn't vote for them. Hell, there have been people here who have said we should let the whole damn place burn if we don't get a perfect solution to our problems. It can't go both ways.Just because Bernie isn't going BAN ALL GUNS!, he's still pushing for gun control, which if you haven't seen his NRA rating, any gun control is bad gun control to them. He's fighting the fight the way it should have been being fought by "responsible gun owners". You will make zero progress on guns without making progressive steps, of which we've made virtually zero, which is why we're in such a shitty place right now.
I'm on mobile, otherwise I'd post a link to the stories coming out about the gun control plan he is planning to release. Its gonna be to the "right" of Hillary, but it will still contain some items gun control advocates have asked for. From what I have read, he is going to sell it as a moderate compromise that he thinks will satisfy the interests of both gun control advocates and reasonable gun owners in rural areas. Based on statements I have heard him make to the press, he is going to use his experience as a politician from a rural area as evidence he can broker a compromise.
I apologize for the lack of links. Again, I am on mobile. I also apologize if I don't respond for awhile because I am about to get called away.
Huh. I didn't expect this from Sanders. This isn't even a difficult issue, especially since his campaign isn't being financed by Israeli lobbying groups. I know they fired the staffer and apologised but where is his anti-apartheid statement?
No worries, I'll definitely read it. However, I also would base my decision on his record. It's mostly shit on gun control. This is a major issue for me, and Hillary's stance is far closer to my own. (hell, Biden's is closer to my own than Sander's.)
Their votes didn't matter then either.
If anything that recount and other recent close ones should have illustrated to everyone how little their individual votes matter. Why else would recounts come up with vastly different numbers in the same precincts over and over. The final tally is just that, the last time they counted the votes

Here!
Do you vote on gun control alone? I prefer Hillary's stance on gun control, but none of her other policies appeal to me in any great way. Her presidency would be even more conservative than Obama's.
Oh, good Lord no. It's part of the puzzle. If Hillary weren't running, and Sanders was still on the ballot he still wouldn't be my guy. (Not sure who I'd pick in this hypothetical.) I disagree with Sanders on quite a few issues including guns and his economic protectionism. Add to the fact that he's not a Democrat, and he's never helped the Democratic party win an election. There are other reasons as well. But, no, I'm not a single issue voter.
I'm hearing from Bernie friends that the group was thrown out over violating limits on the size of signs, not the sign's content.
Grain of salt, but FWIW.
No worries he will help the Democrats win an election in 2016
a) winning the election
b) not running third party
Hope you enjoy President Carson you traitor.
The Republican Party thanks you from the bottom of their hearts.
It's still 2000 somewhere.
Both parties are the sameeeeee!!!!!!
The Republican Party thanks you for your support.
No, I will not stop the fight against this white supremacist wolf-in-sheep's-clothing.
The parties have to earn their votes, they don't own them. And if the final tally has a relevant amount support going to a 3rd party instead of, say, the democratic party that can affect close elections like we saw in 2000.
One of these is correct.
Hint: It's not the first one.
K.
You are trolling, right? No one really thinks that.
Sanders aint perfect, but he is clearly not at the right of Hillary on this matter. He is probably the best candidate for the pro-palestine cause, since all the others are on their knees with the Israel lobby (and he is jewish!).
This is a non issue. A stupid move by low staffer but nothing more representative of Sanders campaign. I mean, if the purpose of this article was to make Sanders look less progressive than_________ it failed misserably.
I see, do diplomacy has no place in the election process, you've already decided what will happen. How terribly progressive of you
I hope they threw them out for bad sign design.Ehh, I'm not sure that's the case. Here's the actual sign if anyone is wondering.
No, I will not stop the fight against this white supremacist wolf-in-sheep's-clothing.
How the fuck is offering no support for Palestine make him "the best candidate for pro-palestine"? You could say Hillary's the most pro-Palestine candidate with that logic.K.

And when he told people who disagreed with him on Israel/Palestine to "Shut up? was that a staffer too?
I've met a few staffers. They're terrified of effing up. I highly doubt this person just decided, on their own, to decide THIS sign needed to come down. S/he must have felt there was a reason this sign in particular had to go.
Wait...what? You just said that he was going to win the election. How very progressive of you, I guess?
I mean....I'm not sure what we're supposed to do here? See which one of our progressives is bigger?
Of course, I'm used to being called "not a real progressive" since I don't feel the Bern. It's all good.
Let's all be honest, Bernie is the candidate for the old Dixiecrat wing of the Party. Harry F. Byrd is going to be his running mate on the ballots in the South since the state parties won't put the real nominee (Biden) on them.
You are too much. The first debate hasn't even happened yet!
Update: Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver has indicated the staffer responsible for the ejections has been removed from their position, and reiterated the decision to remove the students does not reflect campaign policy.
I really wonder what you guys are going to say if after the debate there is no change from minority voters towards Bernie. Or if he ends up losing the debate to Hillary since even Obama wasn't able to consistently win them.
Posted?
It's not really about winning the debates, Bernie's Sander's campaign and positions have had 12 minutes of television coverage during prime time. The debates are a means of actually making him a known quantity to a portion of voters that are currently unfamiliar with this position and personality.
And when he told people who disagreed with him on Israel/Palestine to "Shut up? was that a staffer too?
Many times, it also doesn't change the fact that it happened.

STILL ELIGIBLEI blame Harry Truman for all this
I get it, the truth doesn't really suit your agenda.
I read that article but I don't see him speaking against the apartheid in Israel and Palestine.
Same as what happened after Prop 8, blame the darkies.

Jesus fuck, Sanders stans need to get a goddamn grip with reality.
Oh, I don't doubt that will happen. I just think they'll wait until he loses the primary before they go in on our people for our collective lack of faith in the Bern. I'm just curious about what they'll say in the meantime.
Hillary and Sanders share a similar view. History says Hillary is prone to warhawkism. So yes, he is the better candidate to the pro-palestine view, but only because all the others SUCK that much.
