There's nothing wrong the the stream backseat gaming as long as the streamer themselves don't mind, but if they ask you not to do it and you keep doing it then yeah, you're an asshole.
Liam was the one with the most poverty set-up, but his format was probably my favourite. Just sitting around playing a game and fielding Q&A with a side of commentary.
The proper response to backseat gamers is to openly defy them.
For example, if Pat's in your channel complaining about your RE inventory management, open up your attache case and just start randomly flipping things sideways and upside-down and interleaving ammunition with healing items, making sure to note, "There, GingerRage, did that fix it?" Just as an example.
I'm still active, although at this point I just log in to do beast tribe dailies and my roulettes to get the relic tokens. Waiting for 3.2 at this point.Do any of you guys currently play FFXIV? I'm curious if I've run into any of you in the Free Company over the past couple weeks I've been playing.
He does pretty well when solo. I guess comparatively his PS4 streaming was poverty, but it's still pretty fucking good.Liam was the one with the most poverty set-up, but his format was probably my favourite. Just sitting around playing a game and fielding Q&A with a side of commentary.
I find people reposting the same paragraph of text from some walkthrough to be a bit annoying since he tried what it said and it didn't help him. People kept reposting it for a bit at the time. People already know this, but twitch chat continues to be a vacuum with nonstop nonsense most of the time. It's good that it didn't really bother Matt, but it's bland to me as the viewer to watch Matt piddle around searching for something that doesn't exist for 15 minutes. You can tell going in that it probably doesn't exist either. The reposting of a walkthrough with no one to back it up is just unhelpful. There's nothing wrong the the stream backseat gaming as long as the streamer themselves don't mind, but if they ask you not to do it and you keep doing it then yeah, you're an asshole.
watch him get more viewers than the other FFXIV streamers if he did this

Does he not have mods?
Not at the moment.
I'll get back to Heavensward one day. Hopefully.
im pretty much done with MMOs for now
i tried Blade and Soul last night and the lag made me wanna throw up
maybe when its better optimized ill try again
Oh jeez I just realised it's the same Numb from the Tekken OT, Nice to see your a Zaibatsu fan.
Matt actively tried to get help from the chat and said he couldn't see what some guy posted for him so chat helped him out and reposted it, they weren't griefing him or anything. I have no idea why you're comparing last night's chat to the average Twitch chat, they were actually extremely civil. Chat will be as obnoxious as the streamer lets it become.I find people reposting the same paragraph of text from some walkthrough to be a bit annoying since he tried what it said and it didn't help him. did someone fuck up?Salty Bet 2
I didn't say they were griefing him on purpose. He tried to burn down a bush for an optional tomb, it didn't work, and people reposted the same paragraph stolen from a walkthrough for 10 minutes. I don't think reposting a walkthrough segment is helpful. In the situation he was in it was clearly obvious that he needed some later progression item to get through to the optional tomb. He tried finding some muddy water or whatever it was and couldn't. I just think it was pretty fruitless from the beginning and I've never thought reposting walkthrough segments in an effort to help the streamer have been good ideas.
They were civil, but I think nonstop nonsense really isn't that far off base of what it was. I never said they were like an average twitch chat which would be even worse.
Brother speedwagon also a fan of the sbfp ontop of Jojo and Tekken
Good!
Good!
Apparently Life is Strange is held in high regard?
My take on it during the LP was it being ok, nothing special. One of those games you forget ya played in the following months.
Anyone else feel the same way?
Game or LP? The game was something I enjoyed far more than anything imitating Walking Dead S1 since Walking Dead S1.Apparently Life is Strange is held in high regard?

I still think back to the Russlemania 2 finale, when Warren entered the rumble and Liam's immediate reaction was "Is that Warren? THIS KID NEEDS TO DIE!"The life is strange LP is great because of how much Liam hates to admit that Warren is tottally Shin-Liam

It's pretty good. Of the three major adventure styled games I've seen last year, it was better than Until Dawn, but neither of those games comes remotely close to Tales from the Borderlands.
I enjoyed the LP more than the game itself.
Deep down, we all have a little bit of Warren inside all of us.

As an LP it's aight.
Damn Liam is really dedicated to the Vita, good on him.Liam's really going to bat with the Vita.
I did the survey and I hope everything works out. Would love for more Indie/Japanese games to come out on vita in the west.
Yeah, I think it's definitely the most interesting Walking Dead esque adventure game since S1. It also showed that you can make an adventure game that doesn't fucking die like almost every Telltale game at this point. I definitely don't write it off as hipster bullshit like a lot of people do.Game or LP? The game was something I enjoyed far more than anything imitating Walking Dead S1 since Walking Dead S1.

so now theres 3 groups in the Best Friends Lore
YoVideoGames, the Zaibatsu, and now USTABAIZ lol
and USTABAIZ might as well be shin Woolie,Liam,Matt, and Patt
Damn Liam is really dedicated to the Vita, good on him.
What's/who's the Ustabaiz?
Yup yup. It's funny; for all of Pat's hesitation to do RE0, he's certainly in his element here, even when he's up against his most dreaded foe - puzzles.God I love their Resident evil playthroughs. Always so good.
Shin Zaibatsu.
