Re: the trafficking angle

"
Hip-hop's "Bad Boy" billionaire Sean "Diddy" Combs has drawn comparisons to late sex-trafficking financier Jeffrey Epstein, but one person believes there is a big difference between the two powerful players.

"Jeffrey wasn’t an open secret," Lisa Phillips, a model who said Epstein sexually assaulted her on his private island, told Fox News Digital.

"Jeffrey was all under the table," she said. "Only certain people knew about the sex trafficking. He was very smart – he was much smarter than Sean Combs, much more highly intelligent."
Yeah Combs is what people actually thought Epstein was. Epstein was a piece of shit pedophile, but all evidence points to him mostly just fucking the girls himself, not throwing orgies like all the conspiracy theories show. Maxwell was helping him find girls, not running a sex ring for celebrity pedophiles. Dude was having Maxwell go to High Schools to find girls to come party at his house (and these girls for the most part said he was alone.) He maybe had 1-2 associates he partied with in that way.

Meanwhile Combs was actually throwing orgies, and talking about it any chance he got in interviews, and likely sharing his love of rape and young girls/boys with more people than Epstein ever did.

I have a feeling we're just uncovering the tip of the iceberg

Behind the scenes, the actual talent is grinding away at making it all work. For example, in the music industry, you have people like Max Martin:

I've never heard anyone mention this guy's name before, but you'll always hear about how talented and amazing those artists are. It's all manufactured.
I agree with everything you wrote...but the Max Martin part is surprising.

He is literally the biggest pop hitmaker in history and he's known for being exactly that. Everyone that follows that industry knows about him. His name is known throughout the industry and he has won many awards in his lifetime so far since the 90's:

According to wikipedia he has won the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year award for a record of 11 times. He has also won five Grammy Awards, including Producer of the Year, and nominations for an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards.

These awards are far from obscure.

Saying he's unknown is like saying many great producers are. They usually stay "hidden" because they aren't pop stars, they aren't looking for the cameras but end up getting more money from royalties than usually the stars they work with.

There's artists like Timbaland, Pharell Williams, Dr Dre, etc...they are more known simply by the fact they were also recording artists, something that Max Martin isn't but they have also produced A LOT of records.

The real problem in the music industry is the big corporations like record labels and certain managers. They sign these young kids and then they are working almost as slaves and barely see any money. The K-Pop and J-Pop industry is even worse.

Plenty of artists rebel against that and have mentioned that during their careers, like TLC back in the 90's:

Since this is about Diddy, you guys should check Danity Kane. One of the girl bands he signed:

Remember when he had Justin Bieber hanging around him when he was like...13 or 14? Like...this is disturbing. I can only imagine what that kid saw back then:

I know people hate on Bieber...but he was barely a teenager and already at those parties man. He literally says "we can't disclose what we gonna do but it's every 15 year old dream" and the kid looks like he has no idea what's happening.

This is Justin Bieber in 2020 talking about the music industry when he started out:

This was far from the first teenager that was hanging around Diddy. This is Usher kind of..."scared" of talking about being a teenager around Diddy:

Who's idea was it for teenage Usher to live with Diddy? LA Reid. One of the biggest music CEOs in Hollywood.

See the way he's talking about about those parties. He was 13, barely understanding hat was happening. That last question and his answer says it all.

I can only imagine what happened with other artists Diddy signed or girls bands he helped form, etc...

My point started with Max Martin because music producers aren't really the issue. The man writes and produces pop music to artists already signed to record labels, etc...and he's good at that. The problem is with people above them that just need to go.

I mean culturally invisible, not as an actual secret within the industry of course.

NEW YORK (Court TV) — A high-profile New York attorney has confirmed to Court TV that he has been hired by the family of rapper Tupac Shakur to investigate a possible link between his murder and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Combs is currently facing accusations of sexual assault, rape and human trafficking from a number of lawsuits as well as federal charges after a three-count indictment alleges he kidnapped and trafficked women “to fulfill his sexual desires.” Now, New York-based attorney Alex Spiro, who recently represented Alec Baldwin on involuntary manslaughter charges, tells Court TV that he has been hired to investigate the music mogul and his potential connections to one of Las Vegas’ most notorious murders.

Shakur was gunned down in 1996 while driving in Sin City, and his homicide remained unsolved until Duane “Keffe D” Davis was arrested and charged with his murder in 2023. While Davis has been the only person charged in the murder, he previously accused Combs of being involved in the planning. A detective who testified before the grand jury that indicted Davis said that Marion “Suge” Knight Jr., who was also injured in the shooting that killed Tupac, allegedly told people that Combs was “responsible, if not directly, indirectly for the murder of his good friend.”

With Combs behind bars, other rappers have joined in the chorus to accuse him of being involved in not only Shakur’s murder but, by extension, the killing of Christopher Wallace, known as “The Notorious B.I.G.,” who was murdered in a drive-by shooting months after Shakur’s death. Marshall Mathers, better known by his stage name “Eminem,” raps in his new song “Fuel”: “Notorious B.I.G.’s death was the domino effects of Tupac’s murder, like facial tissue, who’s clock should I clean next? Puff’s? ‘Til he’s in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up?”

Woman meets some guy at bar, guy says he knows Diddy and facetimes him, woman says she's not impressed because she thinks Diddy had Tupac killed, woman gets set up and gang raped by 4 men and a remote

Just because she said Diddy had Pac killed.

giphy.gif

Wouldn't surprise me if he had something to do with Biggie's death too.

A lowlife who's been leeching off all the actual talent in the industry to prop himself up and live like Caligula.

In a new wave of lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs this week, Macy’s has been accused of covering up one of the music mogul’s alleged sexual assaults in order to protect a major deal with his clothing brand.

The lawsuit filed by “John Doe” in Ohio has claimed that in 2008, Combs orally raped a man while he was working in the stockroom at Macy’s flagship store in Herald Square, in Manhattan, New York, according to Business Insider.

The plaintiff, who said he worked as an advisor for Combs’s rival clothing company, Ecko Unltd at the time, claimed in the lawsuit that he was violently attacked by Combs’s bodyguards, who threatened to kill him. Combs allegedly then forced the plaintiff to perform oral sex on him while he called him “Ecko.”

When the plaintiff reported the alleged assault to Macy’s security, he allegedly received no follow-up and was later barred from the store.

Meanwhile, Combs “began passing out merchandise to an adoring crowd, as if nothing had happened,” the lawsuit claims.

“Approximately three weeks later, Terry Lundgren, CEO of Macy’s, pressured Ecko Unltd. executives to fire plaintiff because Macy’s had just signed a multi-million-dollar deal with Sean John Clothing,” according to the lawsuit via Business Insider.

Just because she said Diddy had Pac killed.

Beyond evil behavior. The only upside is that she went to the hospital and got a rape kit done, so there's physical evidence supporting her case.

Diddy deserves the worst possible Bronze Age outcome.

dont really care what anyone says , all this motherf%&$ from the hip hop world are all the same.

low life scumbags and should rot in jail

im still amazed on how people see music in hip hop....its just trash
If you’re not just trolling, look up conscious hip hop artists like Lupe Fiasco, J Cole, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, Lecrae, RZA, Outkast, Denzel Curry, etc. you know, guys who don’t participate specifically in gang-related music, and hopefully you will realize that the ocean is deeper than the pond.

Your post is like a grandpa posting on GAF and calling all rock music ‘satan-worshipping trash’. There are hundreds of musicians out there for tons of different subgenres. Expand your palette, expand your mind.

I'm not even a huge fan. I have cursory knowledge but I respect the genre and would never make a blanket statement like that.

no, Epstein was running a blackmail ring, Diddy was running some sort of gatekeeping operation to keep people in line or identify them as "talents" worthy of music industry blessing.

Yes. Epstein gained power and influence directly through blackmail. It’s how he became a billionaire—other billionaires handed him the keys to their finances after he acquired kompromat on them via his sex trafficking operation.

Literally no evidence of that. Only thing that ever came out is he found out Gates had an affair and allegedly blackmailed him.

Had nothing to do with sex trafficking either way.

oh, there's plenty of evidence, it's just that the people he blackmailed are the ones who can control its release.

Hopefully not classic rock lol. Just outright pedophile lyrics left and right.
The guy says something stupid about hip-hop artists and you respond by something equally clueless. If you don't listen to the stuff, then just say so.

As for Puffy, always felt he was a hack, Didn't have an original creative bone in his body. Just sampled like hell. Though maybe they all do that now. I've never got why sampling gets such a pass...it's ripping off someone else's work and slapping cheap new lyrics on it. I don't consider it an entirely challenging form of music. An AI can do this nowadays.

I do listen to clsssic rock despite all the stories about the various stars fucking teenagers.

I’m just not over here calling all artists from another genre criminals in a thread about sex trafficking.

Yes because rap stars, actors, record execs, athletes, businessmen and basically all other rich men never do that, right?

Hell, the age of consent is like 14 in Japan. You need to point that finger overseas, bro. Lord knows we get enough borderline stuff in our videos games.

You are completely missing my point, which was made in that very post you quoted.
