Wow, apparently the dude who was always outside the Safeway on Brooklyn and 50th selling Real Change passed away on Friday. I was wondering why he wasn't there last week.
You still there, vein?
edit: @ Marination, I meant.
Sounds delicious.
Absolutely perfect weekend. Fiesta 5K + Taco Truck Challenge yesterday,
yuuup.

How do you guys find out about upcoming local shows?
Holy shit. Just bought tickets for tomorrow night!
How do you guys find out about upcoming local shows? I missed Marc Maron a couple months ago and am super pissed :-(
there are bound to be some who disagree, but i think reading the stranger is essential.
My friend has a thing for Asian girls. Which club do we need to go to?
I am dead serious here.
So anyone want to come down to 13 Coins by the airport tonight? I have a 7 hour layover to kill and I plan to do it with booze.
Mariners suck.
That is all I felt the need to say.
Airport 13 coins is best 13 coins. Hang on, I will ask a local idiot I know. If he drives me I might. He fucking loves it. Seriously, that place is amazing and destroys downtown version.
Trinity.
Boarded my flight for Seattle. I'll check in when I land.
Man, you weren't kidding with the late part...
all hinges on designated driver. Will know shortly.Awesome! I plan to be there for a late bite and drinks till they stop serving then having breakfast before my flight. Haha. Come on down!
Or Pnk Ultra Lounge on top of Pacific Place.Or Volume.
I am scheduled to land at 10:27pm. Not too bad for good and some beer! Come hang out. I won't be back till September.
I might. Just have to see if I have the energy. That last night of ours kicked my ass in the morning. I'm such a lightweight now.

You're right, it did close, I just checked. Can't say I'm surprised. Seemed like a weird spot for a club considering the rest of Pacific Place was closed during their hours of operation.Tried to take my parents to Walrus and the Carpenter tonight but there was a 90 minute wait at 8pm. Absurd. Ended up at Bitterroot, which was pretty great.
This place closed up shop.

Also, Bitterroot is fantastic. I ate there with Coldvein not too long ago and I was definitely impressed. I think it's been overshadowed by the nearby Kickin' Boot lately though.
I did. Well, technically I got a bacon burger but they had an option of including pulled pork ON THE BURGER, so of course I went with it.Did you have the pulled pork? I haven't had pulled pork in ages.
Dude! Awesome! Best of luck, let us know how it goes. I'll be thinking about you that morning then.We had the pork belly, brisket, and chicken at Bitterroot. I thoroughly enjoyed eating the equivalent of a piece of fancy bacon the size of a steak.
I have an interview and stage with Tom Douglas on Thursday morning. Nerves. Nerves.

Is the interview with Tom Douglas DA MASTERCHEF himself? Or someone from his restaurants?
Walrus and the Carpenter in Ballard.

Frank's Oyster House and Champagne Parlor in the U-District (on 26th and NE 55th, kind of behind U-Village).

I quite liked Branzino in Belltown (http://www.branzinoseattle.com/). Went with my pops last week while he was visiting. Isn't really an oyster restaurant--had oysters more for appetizers you know--but they were solid.
EDIT. oops double post I'm a monster.

Who all's going to 'squatch in a few weeks? It'll be my first camptastic music festival: pumped as fuck.
