The 22nd Anniversary is tomorrow. To celebrate, I've got a couple presents ready for everyone. I hope you enjoy them as they come out over the next several days.
Present #1:
http://youtu.be/OTSKGTNMaw4
Sega at the Autumn '97 Tokyo Game Show. Click the "CC" button to enable subtitles. Please excuse the lack of subs for the middle segment. I wasn't able to get that portion translated but felt it should be included anyway. Subs return around the seven-minute mark.
Expect four more translated videos over the next week or two.
Welcome to the thread. Ive watched many of your videos. Insanely jealous of your sealed collection by the wayPresent #1:

It's probably the biggest reason why I don't own a skeleton Saturn...."This is Cool!" probably wouldn't have worked here, haha.
(I've always liked 'Welcome To Saturn'.)

It's up to him to sort out which ones got a NA release and which didn't, but it's not a super long list so it'll be fairly easy.
That's new, used is in the 100-200 bucks range.Whelp, Shining the Holy Ark went up to $599.95 from like $150 on Amazon. I should've jumped on it while I had the chance.

Yeah but those are used(not a problem though). There's some recent CIB completed sale listings of circa $90 on ebay.
Happy Anniversary!
Damn I miss the old SEGA

That price is for a new copy. Used is like 100-200 bucks(even CIB), just like ebay.and this is why you don't use amazon marketplace prices
If it looks like this, then yes:PSX power cord can be used on a Saturn without issue, correct?

If it looks like this, then yes:
Depends on the PS3. My old fat one uses the same power cord as a desktop computer's power supply unit, which is rather different. Thanks, I thought so, turns out PS3 and PS4 use the same cord too which is convenient.

Ever since he went to doing this full time he's been going all in on the popular click bait videos. But I agree that he seems like a great guy which is why I still watch and let it slide. I remember a video recently where him and his guest didn't know what Final Fight was or some similar game. I was like...wtf!It's not that I don't like Metal Jesus Rocks. He seems like a nice chill dude, who I would totally get along with in person. It's just his buying guides, and hidden gems videos make me want to slap him and the people in his videos. Do 30 minutes of goddamn research motherfuckers. Please just do some fucking research.
'tuber with 320K subs made a Saturn buying guide vid so expect a hike, lol.

Totally agree. I don't find his videos unwatchable per se, because he comes out of them as a nice guy who seems genuinely passionate for what he's talking about, but yeah... Other than that, it all gets pretty shallow and uninformative. I mean, they mention the very same titles you could find anywhere else on the Internet, if you Google 'SEGA Saturn top 10' and stop at the first 4-5 results. Super safe, but at least it wouldn't mislead anyone who has never heard about the system. It's not that I don't like Metal Jesus Rocks. I don't know if it's a common trait of those 'collectors of everything' out there, and when you pile up so many tens of thousands of games, they all pretty much starts blending in the same cauldron, and you lose a bit of focus. A good example - in my opinion - is AVGN's friend Mike... During his Talk about Games episodes, I find myself quitting halfway through more and more frequently, due to the amount of nonsense coming out of his mouth (no offense, personal thoughts and such, of course).
BTW,according to that guide, I just bought Elan Doree and Donpachi (I'm aware PS port is better regarded, but the deal was just too good, and I may get it on the PlayStation as well, eventually). Super excited, I'll post pics when they arrive.not
That is a great example and I share your sentiment. Some of those videos are nonsense and it's made worse because the guy he's on there with is also clueless so you're hearing it reinforced, lol.I don't know if it's a common trait of those 'collectors of everything' out there, and when you pile up so many tens of thousands of games, they all pretty much starts blending in the same cauldron, and you lose a bit of focus. Present #2
Jim Steele is introduced as Wolf Hawkfield to promote the release of All Japan Pro Wrestling Featuring Virtua. Make sure you have the "CC" button enabled to view the subs.

But see id rather just spend that money toward my want list (Hyper Duel or Mizubaku Daibouken come to mind). I'll admit it's cool and you don't see much Saturn swag so it's got that going for it. I love when auctions tell you its the last one EVER by the way
Metal Jesus just seems like a goof who knows jack about anything in any video I've ever seen. Like he only ever does cursory research before speaking, and is very often factually wrong.I like metal jesus but that was one of his poorest vids. I have more accessories just lying around (official ones too) than they mentioned! Still, a real Saturn buyers guide would be about a 5 hour video... He just shouldn't have called it as such imo and they probably rushed it out for the anniversary buzz.
