I think that Kaitendo did a much better job with the tanlines on theirs, the uneven line makes it look a bit more natural. It's a bummer that the faces are usually spot on or totally off.

Gonna be honest, everyone. I'm starting to question if I should pre-order and play SK2. Finally getting back into the dating scene tomorrow, so I feel like if I want to take this seriously, it might be time to give up some of the *ahem* lewder stuff like SK.
Granted, this is if it actually goes anywhere, then I'll see how she feels about anime and stuff like this. But if things get more serious (i.e it actually reaches "I FINALLY GOT A GIRLFRIEND!" status), I might start having to slowly say goodbye to this series.
If it doesn't? Nothing shall change. Hopefully, she's one of those girls who's more open to these types of games/anime. My childhood friend's wife (from what he tells me) is actually fine with it, so maybe I'll get lucky.
Edit: If it makes any difference, I only buy the games and discuss them here. I don't buy any of the merchandise and such, and that goes for most other franchises that might be a bit more lewd than normal.

For Homura? Not at the moment. Maybe with the second season of the anime, we'll see more branching out on figures.
SK figures aren't as common as you'd think. They're mostly Griffon pieces, which are universally considered lower quality.

Oh yeah, like I said, my childhood friend's wife seems to be fine with this type of stuff, from what he's told me. Some women are fine with their bfs/husbands playing these, assuming they can remember to separate fantasy from reality/not become super obsessed. As long as it's just the games, maybe I'll be fine.
From what my dad has told me, she MIGHT be into games, so hey, maybe she'll be fine with it. I don't want it to be a surprise, i.e I pick up my pre-order, she finds it, argument happens.
I just wanna have my bases covered/be safe because of how rare of a chance this is for me, so I really don't wanna screw it up. Try to slowly & casually introduce some of the games & anime I like over time, since I obviously shouldn't nerd out first date, but also don't want to feel like I'd be "hiding" anything if things got more serious.
Edit: Talked with a female friend & reconfirmed "just be yourself", so I guess there could be a decent chance she could be fine with it as long as she's fine with who I am.

At least in my eyes, if they give you shit about it, they aren't worth it anyways. I don't think a relationship should be constantly looming with anxiety because they don't like your hobbies.
Then again, I don't really have much experience with this kind of stuff, so take it with a grain of salt.

Oh yeah, I think the "lewdest" that I play is SK & I guess DoA with some of the costumes, but that's about it. I stay away from stuff from Idea Factory & such, which it's much more pervy & in-your-face. Dungeon Travelers 2 is a good example of being too extreme for me. & again, I don't collect a ton of the merchandise or even buy figures (unless they're pre-order bonuses, which rarely happens & even then, they're not lewd).

To get back on topic, think Xseed might do a bundle for the DLC? I already have Burst, so that takes care of Muramase or whatever Ikaruga's brother is called. Totally want the shmup stage, but not sure about the third if it's just cosmetic.

Huh, was it on par with SV (I doubt it'd be near Dekamori/Bon Appetit's level)? It looked about as tame as Burst, but I guess the T-rating might've been an one time thing since most of us were surprised it got that.
Guessing the "this game is expected to be rated M" is more of a safety procedure, but oh well, either way, it won't affect my purchase. Just kind of curious since from what I saw, it looked closer to Burst's level of skin-showing compared to SV.
