In episode 7. Sun at
her mum's grave
.

I love how I'm barely invested in the story but love watching the day-to-day stuff with the cast. If they had a slice-of-life spin-off series, I'd totally be down.

...god daryl hannah's parts are weird. I hope there's some excellent payoff??

Omg the cuts are so good.

Episode 2

When Sun steals a car and says "other lives" Sun goes in the car again and it cuts right away to Wolfgang coming out. So good.

Just finished. Amazing show. So good!
that fucking cliffhanger though! This shoe better come back. Part of my soul will die if it's not renewed.

Just finished the first new episode of the season. This show has really found a groove. I'm loving it so far.

I won't be bingeing the show, instead spacing it out slowly over May.

I want to savor this stuff! :D

Detective Mun is so beautiful.
His ass in those pants!

Also this show deserves an Emmy for costume design based solely on Lito & Hernando's
underwear.

I need a S3 renewal ASAP.

Just finished.

10/10, 5/5 stars, 300 thumbs up, 100% loved it.

Holy shit that ending! That cliffhanger is going to make the wait for Season 3 so painful!

You're a big guy.
it is rare that you find tv shows that so joyfully celebrate the good parts of life. Many do great work with tragedies and loss - but Sense8 nails the joy.

Just finished the first episode. Needs more musical montages.

Found the action scene in the parking lot at the end to be lacking.
I hope it gets better.

Amazing finale. Season 3 when?

Seriously, I hope it isn't too far away. The second season is such a massive step up in pretty much every way but there is still so much explore.

Finale season spoilers

Also,
even though they are probably way more capable when they have their sense8 abilities, it was amazing to see them still work together so well without them. Such an effective way to show their growth.

Episode 8: All I Want Right Now Is One More Bullet

Episode 8 spoilers

So good, I especially loved the scene where Lina is mind-fucking Wolfgang so her cluster can probe him to figure out if he has a gun. It was just a tease but with the way they're setting up Lina's cluster as the real threat, I can't wait to see a real cluster vs cluster encounter.

Ep 5 Fear Never Fixed Anything:
when they decided to go out in the open and take the war to BPO, and the song from season 1's karaoke episode started to play... The feels and tears.

Yes. Yes he is.

Watched the Christmas special (which I hadn't seen yet). That was... well, kinda long for its content. I'm gathering that the pace picks up for the rest of the season.

In this gif, the Xmas special is everything before that American Flag. The rest of the season is everything after.

Episode 2 just picks up steam and goes from there. I'm up to ep 8 and it hasn't stopped yet.

I'd say that the Christmas special has been the weakest episode of the season.

Ep 8:
Depressed Lito is best Lito. Him watching the drama with Kala and Rajan while eating popcorn was amazing. Loved seeing the Cluster really fight as one. Kinda curious as to how Wolfgang is going to get away with what happened in the restaurant.

Loved the season and they really need to give us very quickly the news of a season 3.

and lol at the EP4:
V for Vendetta homage
I laughed way too much at it.

Holy shit this season is so much improved over the first. Everything just feels so on point and the plot is always pushing forward.

Like, all of Lito's scenes in ep 8 are killing me.
Lito lying in the street. Lito and Sun in the motel. Lito eating popcorn while Kala is fussing over Rajan.
Can't wait to see what else he does this episode

I think I'm about halfway through the new season, and as everyone has said, my god, what an improvement. Plot, plot everywhere! Intrigue! The dialogue is much less clunky, and the pacing is much improved. Sometimes there is still a bit of unsubtle clunk with the moral messages the show wants to deliver, but it's generally so on point with it at the same time that I can't fault it too much. I love that the world feels a lot bigger, and the new additions to the supporting cast have been great.

Silly little spoiler thing -
I had a good sniffle when Sun reunited with her dog. Wah.

Absolutely, it's a wonderful change of pace.

Holy shit at the finale. If this show doesn't get a 3rd season I will boycott Netflix forever.

Question though:

Was everyone there actually in London even Capheus? Well I figure next season could probably be much easier to film with them all together.

Anyway this is probably top 3 seasons of a Netflix show. The show matured from an interesting quirky show with a lot of jank to a seriously compelling tv show keeping your heart pounding every episode.

Finally started the new season! Man I really love the scenes when they're connected and working together. It's one of the best things about this show.

Yeah I have huge smile on my face during those scenes.

Man I can't even imagine the production nightmare this show is. It's one thing to have GoT where characters are so far apart that they can't interact, but there are so many scenes across so many places they film in, that everything must have to be meticulously planned. I can see why it took so long to make.

I've only watched the first episode of season 1 and didn't like it and never watched the rest. I keep hearing how much season 2 is improved and want to give the new season a shot. I keep hearing that the 2 hour special episode isn't as good as season 2 proper, but do you guys think it's essential viewing before starting the season or should I just skip it?

It does all the heavy lifting that allows this season to be breakneck, so essential, imo

You're going to have a hell of a time with season 2 unless you watch season 1 as well. The show drops you into a bunch of established plot points and character relationships and expects that you've seen all the context. And yes, the Christmas special is required viewing.

HOLY SHIT! That finale! That cliffhanger!

"You want a war?"

S1>S2 might be the best improvement I've seen of any show. Goddamn.

Yeah I think S1 and the special are pretty mandatory viewing if you want to make the most of it.

Oh man! Guess I'll try to get back into season 1...

The finale felt really rushed to me but damn was it great. I hope it gets renewed again and soon!

come to think of it, it felt like they dropped every plot to give them a win against the big bad just in case it gets cancelled

HOLY SHIT AT THAT ENDING.

There better not be a 2 year wait for S3.

I'd watch S1 and the Christmas special. It sets everything up for S2 and you'd be pretty lost without it. You said you only watched the first episode of S1. It's not until ep 4 that it REALLY clicks (though honestly, I loved it from the start).

Episode 2

Great start to the season. I know technically the Christmas special is, but I saw that back when it released so it feels separate. Anyway, the ending of this episode is hype. Let's go!

Yeah I have huge smile on my face during those scenes.

Yeah, it'scrazy how this show is shot. Really talented folks working on it.

I'll admit I'm confused about the ending to episode 2.

Okay, so they compromised Whispers. How, exactly? Did he get sloppy? You'd think that if he knew Will can always spy in on him that he'd be doing a better job staying away from details that that can be used to piece information together.

Yeah it sort of felt like maybe there was supposed to be an extra episode for everything that happens in the last episode but then something happened.

ep 2
I think he got lazy in taking his blockers. There is a scene where his wife reminds him to take his medicine. In general, Whispers was the one controlling the meetings or starting them. And Will was fairly messed up on heroin. Whispers wasn't expecting an attack. He also doesn't know about Kala and whatever she was doing to offset the heroin or about Bug and how he's helping with the hacking. It's pretty clear that Whispers can be easily rattled - he can't take the blockers when Will does show up.
