September Wrasslin' |OT| Almost Brings a tear to my eye

When did this happen? I don't seem to remember it.

As someone who never watched an episode of Nitro as they aired, I find those nWo/Outsider commercials hold up extremely well.

Buy a t-shirt. You can get one for $20 or two for $40.

I would tell you to get a chromebook if all you want to do is browse is the internet.

It's StroMomo's pc. Holy shit is it garbage. I just deleted EIGHT tool bars that were clearly spyware and were running non stop even in browsers that they weren't installed on. After deleting all of those and a few other clearly not real programs, I can get YT to work. WWE Network is still extremely choppy. I don't know how you can get anything done on this. It has a copy of Office from 1997.

Old folks and PCs can be the worst

She's only 49 but only recently figured out how to Google stuff instead of ask me how to fix something. StroGrandparents are better at computers somehow and they click big giant red xes that say DO NOT CLICK PHISHING ATTEMPT ON PAGE and then say they didn't do anything.

I found a copy of WWF Crunch Classic over here though. Most def going to get that on my PC at home and upload it or review it or something.

Rowdy Roddy Piper VS. The Mountie At The 1992 Royal Rumble For The Intercontinental Championship

Money Inc. VS. Virgil & Big Boss Man On WWF Wrestling Challenge

24 Hours On The Road With Jimmy Hart

New Foundation VS. The Nasty Boys On WWF Wrestling Challenge

Rowdy Roddy Piper VS. Adrian Adonis At Wrestlemania 3 Hair VS. Hair Match

The Undertaker VS. The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith (Fan Favorite Match) On WWF Wrestling Challenge

Texas Tornado VS. Rick The Model Martel On WWF Wrestling Challenge

Jake The Snake Roberts Snakes Make Fun Pets

Skinner VS. Jim The Anvil Neidhart On WWF Wrestling Challenge

The Natural Disasters VS. Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Sgt. Slaughter On WWF Wrestling Challenge

Looks pretty awful. I know I have a bunch of old CHV tapes here somewhere.

aka 24 Hours in a Vehicle Directly Behind Hulk Hogan's at All Times
I've seen it. There are a few times where Hulk has to stop on the side of the road so Jimmy can catch up because he got stuck at a light. Also Hogan has to stop at every rest stop.

Some other tapes I found:

The Best of Wrestling Gold Volume 1. I'm pretty sure this has Terry Boulder/Golden vs Andre, a dude wrestling a bear, and some Memphis footage. It might all be Memphis footage. I remember Andre and Hulk doing an arm wrestling match and I think King/someone vs LOD, because I remember Hawk no selling a piledriver. It's from 1990 and I have no idea where I got it from.

WWF 1992 Battle of the WWF Superstars

Hogan/Piper vs Flair/Sid
Bushwhackers do aerobics
Bushwhackers/Duggan/Slaughter vs Beverly Bros/Nasty Boys
Bulldog vs HBK
Bret Hart/Natural Disasters vs Nasty Boys/Mountie
Repo Man vs Virgil
El Matador vs Skinner
Macho vs Berzerker
Tatanka vs Warlord
A lot of history on the USS Intrepid (a year before Lex hip locked Yoko on it) and a day in the live of Needles the Tailor

I used to watch that tape to put me to sleep, no lies.

There is also a tape with NWA written in marker. I don't know what it is. I don't remember having any NWA tapes, and I can't imagine why there would be an NWA group tape in the attic. This might be a scary tape, friends.

Smackdown staying on Fridays is official.

WWE has just confirmed that Smackdown will be remaining on Friday from 8-10 p.m. for the fall season.

The change back to the current time slot appears to have been a last minute decision, since the Syfy Network web site still lists Smackdown on Thursdays from 8-10 p.m. starting 10/2, and through the next several weeks.

Good(?) news, friends. The NWA tape is not my parents boning, but is in fact a block of Thursday night NBC prime time footage from what seems to be from somewhere between 2002-2004.

I think I'd rather watch my parents fuck than an episode of Will & Grace.

wasn't the story that upn tried to kill it by putting on friday night and it somehow started pulling even better numbers?

They lost 20% of their audience moving to Friday and never got them back.

fake sting crap aside (the announcers acting like they couldn't tell the different when fake sting had shorter hair and a much more prominent receding hairline, plus crap makeup), i totally forgot how great the build up of sting's character was.

real sting causing mass confusion by death dropping the steiners, having a boner for death dropping jarrett at every chance he could get, just watching on as the nWo beat the crap out of piper the night after the piper/hogan match at starrcade. so good. and the buildup just gets better. too bad we have to wait for more episodes.

also, the giant turning face and leaving/getting kicked out of the nWo was amazing. grabbing hogan by the throat and yelling at the nWo "GET OUT OF THE RING NOW" was great.

Scott Halls best work

And yeah, end of 96 and most of 97 is the best Nitro.

Wow finished the Jericho/HHH podcast today. It was damn good.

I used to hate HHH for years but I've changed my tune considerably after listening to that interview. Dude loves pro wrestling and has dedicated his life to the business. I always had the idea he married into his position in the WWE but after listening to him talk candidly it sounds as if Vince was looking for HHH to have a bigger role backstage for years. I had no idea that the performance center was his idea. I knew he was overseeing the project but had no idea he saw it through from the pitch stage to where it is now. The man has one of the best Vince impressions I've heard, very very subtle.

Definitely worth a listen even if you aren't really a fan of Jericho's podcast. I find his shows hit or miss for the most part but this one is great. I actually like HHH now and take back all the nasty shit I said about him on message boards in the early 2000s.

ROH announced earlier today that Silas Young would be out of action up to four months with a broken leg. Prowrestling.net has since learned Young has a legitimate injury of some sort, but I am told that the fracture aspect is embellished for storyline purposes. As previously noted, the company also had Matt Taven announce via Twitter that he did not re-sign with ROH and was moving on, yet we were also told a while back that his announcement was also work.

ROH working everyone.

What has the world come to when Meltzerz has to tell you every angle is an angle?

No one "has" to do anything, but some people like to know what injuries are legit and which are a work. I'm just glad Silas won't be gone for four months and doesn't actually have a broken leg.
