Good podcast in general? Haven't given it a go yet.

It is, especially events you remember. Lots of history discussion from Pollock, who is pretty much a wrestling scholar, and input from Ting who knows a lot but provides a lighter view of it. It's a good mix, and if you remember the events, they're delightful.

Once they watched Chyna's porn and Ting threw up, it was amazing.

Sounds fantastic. Adding that to my listening queue against my better judgement. I listen to so many god damn podcasts on a weekly basis.

Also no ads, but John and Wai tend to spend a lot of time bullshitting so the real podcast usually starts around 20 mins in or so.

The interview with Nash that they played at the end of last weeks episode was astounding.

Was this Russo's grand plan for wrestling all along? Did he really want to turn into a show about a show about a show, with layers of insider bullshit? I'll admit though, Nash hitting us with the solemn conviction of "I'm going over" to conclude the interview is pretty hilarious.

Nice write-up, man! Forgot about that amazing Orndorff segment. Isn't that what made him quit the company?

He never quit the company. His nerve damage got to the point where he couldn't wrestle anymore by the end of 1995, and he stayed on as trainer at the Power Plant until the end. He wrestled again towards the end of 2000 and had another neck injury.

Total Divas was his ultimate goal. And he was proven right. Every single person is more interesting on TD than the actual wrestling show.

Oh wow did not know Ciampa would show up on NXT. Kinda cool.

I think more than Dana wrestling I hate her talking. She sounds like the girls of Clueless. So annoying.

The funny thing is the result of the match was
Goldberg walked out the 3 way match because he didn't want to take the powerbomb and job to Nash. So Steiner took the fall.

Also am I crazy or does 12 Rounds 3 actually look totally passable from the trailer? Like low budget Die a Hard which I could see being entertaining.

We'll see

I've somehow managed to be disappointed from the shitty-looking Marine movies, I can't imagine how disappointed i'd be if 12 Rounds 3 sucked

Oh, right then. Thanks for the correction!

So wait Goldberg was a heel? Cos that proved Nash right by not being a legit tough guy or whatever.

Nothing makes sense.

I think Brock's success and aura shows that using shoot stuff into things can work right if done well. All those NXT interviews with Becky/Balor would get them over because you know, its real life and shit. Not some demon or yet another crazy diva who is So RanDumB!!!!

This reminds me of those videos that point out when an NBA star travels. It comes off real creepy how much these people obsess over their personal hatred of a celebrity to the point where they make videos about the flaws they found about them.

Did brisk tacos have anything to do with this?

Why would I do that? I focus on the positives, friend.

NXT Takeover Spoiler:

The main event is a 30 minute iron man match for the NXT Women's Championship between Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Data West

coaches in the WNBA
Mike Bailey is going to get to learn some real wrasslin from Averno

Averno's the fucking best with working younger, faster guys.

Data West

coaches in the WNBA
Bailey working AAA could potentially lead to him in Lucha Underground. Which would be a great way to develop a character for him. Assuming WWE doesn't snipe him.

Holy shit guys. That Takeover main event has the potential to be fucking incredible.

Also I don't think it needs to be spoiler-tagged considering Triple H is promoting it on his Twitter account.

HMMM....that could be good.

Welp, (im)patiently counting down to October 7 now.

As am I.
Mostly because that's my birthday. :D

I've heard the theory for years, kinda interesting to see it confirmed.
