GOD fucking dammit.

How far backward are we going to go before we start crawling forward again?

Go after Doctors with their MD/PhD degrees prescribing pills?

uh what? The medical community is trying to curb opioid abuse. Punish the ones that prescribe the most and after pill mills.
Many docs are pushing for the legalization of pot to fight against abuse.

This shouldn't be a surprise, it's utterly consistent with Sessions' policies for decades. He's ridiculously anti-drug.

A small part of me was almost hopeful that the Trump admin might do something decent for once.... nope, all hope is dead.

Sessions doesn't have the gig without the votes of the communities most ravaged by Opioid addiction. I wonder how this will play out...

Who do you think runs pill mills? Doctors.

And we should punish them.
As Opioid Epidemic Continues, Steps to Curb It Multiply

Can Pot Curb Opioid Craving?
Yasmin Hurd, PhD, is a Professor of Psychiatry, Neuroscience, and Pharmacological Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai. She is also director of the Mt. Sinai Center for Addictive Disorders. Her research has delved into the pharmacological properties of marijuana, and its potential as a drug to curb opioid craving.

In this doc-to-doc interview, we discuss the latest results of mouse and human studies of cannabidiol, which is often thought of as the calming yin to tetrahydrocannabinol's more anxiety-producing yang. This agent, according to Hurd, may be a valuable weapon in our arsenal against opioid abuse, but regulations may be standing in the way of further research.
They actually talk about Sessions in this video.

But this is politics not science.

State's alt rights

I have never smoked but this will be interesting to see if they will attack weed. They then can not argue that you are for state's rights.
Watch them still do both

I'll never understand what basis people had to come to this conclusion. He telegraphed all of his horrors from his campaign and on.

Will never get it, just people thinking someone can't be this horrible, when they had a track record of horror.

Fuck Sessions.

Racist ass bastard.

I love that he thinks that he's gonna be around long enough to be able to get anything done.

Come on IC, put more incriminating info out there. Hurry.

Question is, when? Something needs to happen to him, Trump & the rest of the administration sooner or later.

I understand Hillary is worlds better than Trump, but let's not act like the 94 Crime Bill was a success. Michelle Alexander broke down its failures and she's not a political hack.

it's ok, you're all right now

It was a shit bill but we were literally having crack / coke assassinations happening. The country was a warzone. Context always matters for that bill, but people look at it in a vacuum. A lot of inner city communities welcomed it, believe it or not. Ending the war on drugs and therapy / rehabilitation would've been a much better solution, but we used the hammer nail approach. Where everything in the drug crisis was considered a nail, and a hammer was the solution.

I'm sorry, but when I learned she called all black men on the planet who have ever lived super villainous predators, she lost my vote.

Don't blame me.
