And a $900 tier
![]()
LEND SHENMUE A HAND - Your hand and all the mysteries that lie within its palm will be featured in a book at a fortune teller. See what your future will hold! $600 Reward included.
Looks like they changed the project image:
It's already on and has been for a while. You need to make an account to watch it seems.
Even then you need a premium account or else you get booted every few minutes...
They are now talking about Yu's career, and how it all started.
As a student, he first thought of becoming a dentist, or artist, but then decided on programming. Programming held much potential for the future at the time, and he started out at Sega. He started off with doing arcade games.
japan (the country, not the awesome variety) puttin' in WORKTotal jumped by 3,000 in last hour, but none of it was because of new tier...
They need to update with add-ons this week. Some people can't be bothered to make new KS accounts but want multiple versions of the game. They'll be stupid not to do it.
I guess if no one goes for the 900 tier, could be pretty cool to be the only one in the fortune tellers book.
Ha ha, one mighty hand in the entire book.I guess if no one goes for the 900 tier, could be pretty cool to be the only one in the fortune tellers book.
how much is it compared to dice dude? That alone might even force my 'hand' and switch from the Dice Dude tier! Lol
how much is it compared to dice dude?
Also the controls are better but it's stupid they don't allow you to use one stick for moving and another stick for the camera.
For your consideration: if you had looked at the Kicktraq chart for Bloodstained at that point in their campaign, Kicktraq's expected final projection would have been slightly over ~4.2M$Because backing evolves slower, Kicktraq's expected finale projection is lower now : at the end of the campaign, Shenmue 3 should earn between 4.89M$ and 5.25M$.
By comparison, Bloodstained collected 5.54M$.
well at least they priced the new reward properly this time.Another $200 big ones.
Honestly speaking, even if Sega were to suddenly turn around and try to take advantage of this development to release Shenmue 1/2 HD, these wouldn't be part of the KS backer rewards.Hypothetically if Sega did decide to announce a I and II HD remake tomorrow and allow it to be included in the Kickstarter rewards where do you think it would sit? $150 possibly?
It's not happening but I can dream a little![]()
The Dreamcast only had one stick, unfortunately.
yep.Honestly speaking, even if Sega were to suddenly turn around and try to take advantage of this development to release Shenmue 1/2 HD, these wouldn't be part of the KS backer rewards.
possibly, but if they weren't already happening before they most likely can't turn around with a definite answer four weeks after the shenmue 3 announcement. It would give us a boost if they were announced before the end of the Kickstarter.
I prefer trigger to walk/run here. There's a lot of running about in Shenmue.
Been watching the live stream. It seems bad that they still haven't set up Paypal, though I understand they want to try to avoid losing more money from donations. What's worse though is that the reward explanations for the KS haven't been updated in Japanese at all besides the initial offerings. No mention of even the PS4 physical copy for the people who live in a country where PC gaming is virtually non-existent.What the heck are they thinking?
is yu still on niconico?
hopefully there's enough basic english taught in japan that they can make out some of the rewards tiers.Wow. Really...
Yes, there is still the problem though that if you are holding R to run while looking around with the stick then you give up the ability to turn left and right and you can only go straight. So you can only enjoy the sights for so long until Ryo runs into something.
If this series gets a release on modern consoles with second stick camera support I'm going to spend so much time soaking in the world.
Yes, but when porting the game to the Xbox they should have added that option. The game allows you to use the dpad to move and the sticks to move the camera, well, they simply had to map the dpad functions to the left stick. Whatever, it's playable, but it annoys me because of how stupid it is lolThe Dreamcast only had one stick, unfortunately.
