I really wish they would give The Dillinger a chance for a championship run. I love this dude and he is probably top 5 most over person in that roster

Looks like they are giving him something right now or maybe just feeding him people again so somebody can beat him at the next Takeover.

So I started watching the NXT episodes back when it was reality show because it was on Youtube. The first 2 seasons were pretty bad, but it was in a fun way where it was still enjoyable. Then I got to the season with the divas. With all the shitty wrestling I've watched this has to be the absolute worst. The most entertaining part of the show is Michael Cole just shitting on the whole thing. I don't even know if I can watch the whole season. Women's wrestling has come a long way.

So WWE is actually now communicating about Owens celebrating the title with his son and wife etc.. Not only his social network but the WWE is doing it.

I know it seems i'm the only one wondering about that but still, i'm not sure he won that as a heel. We'll see on Monday.

I reallly can't see Rollins chasing as a face. That doesn't make any sense.

You have a guy who's been a heel champ forever. He just injured the new face champ. He was helped a lot to stay champ a long time, was an authority figure etc.. People want change.

Now everyone is fucking happy Owens is a champ. Everyone wanted him (and not rollins) to win last Monday. HOW in hell do you turn that into a situation where people want Rollins to take it back, honestly ? It's going to be forced as fuck.

Just finished watching IYH: Canadian Stampede with WeWatchWrestling's commentary. It's so strange seeing how amazing Austin was when I couldn't stand him in high school. Never did like Bret and still don't though. Owen was the only good Hart.

Hey Monsoon I got a question for you , Jumbo is consider by fans as an all time great , why is it that wrestlers like ric flair don't think so highly of him?

Probably because he was so inexperienced when they were facing him - as talented as he was, I imagine guys like Harley, Robinson and Funk had to guide Jumbo through a lot of those early big bouts. The opportunities he was getting in terms of who he was wrestling and how long he was wrestling them for, that just hadn't been seen before for someone only a few years into the business. He was a 'super rookie', but had the athletic ability to back it up and hang with the best. Ric's described him as an athletic freak and likened him to Brock Lesnar, but I don't think he or Harley ever held Jumbo in particularly high regard or thought of him as being on their level.

The Funks and Hansen will sing his praises, but Stan acknowledges that Jumbo could be uncooperative later on in his career and got a bit of a reputation for being lazy when TV cameras weren't present. There was also a sense that he was working an outdated style in the 80's, which is why the Choshu invasion of AJPW in 1984 works so damn well, because you see Jumbo forced to adapt and he does so by getting aggressive and angry to a degree not previously seen in his career.

Also, Foley complained that Jumbo didn't give him enough in their match, but when you watch it back you see that it's more that Foley doesn't understand how to get over with the Japanese audience - he tries his usual thing of wowing them with his crazy reckless bumps, but they don't react to any of it and all of the offence he does get in falls flat. Even the Cactus elbow. Foley was the job guy on that tour, Jumbo was the top star of the promotion. Unsurprisingly, all the audience cared about and wanted to see was Jumbo.

Stacked card but the final match should have just been Austin alone vs the Harts because fuck the legion of roids. Also won with a fucking roll-up?
It would have made Austin look like a goofball otherwise. He never submitted to the Sharpshooter in any of his matches against Bret (singles or tag). Goes to show you can *gasp* actually have great matches without resorting to a finisher fest.

It's so weird to go back.

The divas season had CM Punk doing commentary, it was hilarious

While I think it's not something that would be visited often I should put my reviews up somewhere. I have loads I've done for WCW shows which I obviously did for fun and/or punishment.

This is the problem with the brand split. On Raw, who are your actual main event babyfaces right now? Balor is out. Reigns is a heel whether they admit it or not. Rollins is a heel. Neville would have some great matches, but he's not a credible main eventer. I'm probably forgetting someone, but Sami Zayn is like the only majorly over face who is not part of a tag team right now. Otherwise you'd have to pull Cass or Big E into the main even scene. Oh, and Cesaro is tied up in a 7 series match with Sheamus.

Any idea to find out the finish of the main event? Was it just heel tactics getting the DQ on Hogan?

New wrestling game kickstarter. Gameplay is based on old AKI games and it includes big indie names like the Young Bucks and Joey Ryan.

Good luck to them, but after that 10 years in the making AKI-like that is now in early access on Steam, I'd need at least something to play to back this.

Hope it does make it and they prove me wrong though. Would be cool.

I Wanna Be The Guy

U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
I had a really weird dream about Eva Marie last night. She had another wardrobe malfunction on her way to the ring but then she just ripped off all her clothes and there was nothing there. She then took off like a body suit thing to reveal her real body, which was actually fat. She got on the mic and started speaking with a Russian accent.

I don't know.

Thanks, pal. Now I'm scared to leave the bathroom. Still dark in the best coast.
