Honest question, if wwe tried to do the Eugene character again today, how many of their sponsors would say fuck off? How much trouble would they get in to?

I wish I liked DS3 as much as the other games. I don't know what it is, I just don't really feel hype for the DLC. I thought it was fatigue with the franchise, but I've replayed DS1 and BB a ton since DS3 came out.

Aside from the post-Catacombs sequence of levels and Cathedral of The Deep, there wasn't very much that wowed me. It was all good fun, but I honestly preferred Dark Souls II to it.
Interesting. I thought the gameplay in 3 was way faster and tighter from my limited time with it.

Personally, if you take away the DLC, DS2 is easily my least favorite of the bunch (though still a very good game). The level design is definitely the worst, and a lot of the bosses felt uninspired. DS3's first three bosses showed more variation than the entirety of DS2, and I really like how they have very distinctive second stages.

They would probably try and spin it as being pro-autism as an angle, and let the bad press get them more viewers.

Still can't believe that was a gimmick in the 2000's.

I feel like you'd see him tag teaming with Kamala.

I bet Vince still thinks it's funny too.

I think it would get some flack. Believe me, if this was the Attitude Era, I wouldn't be surprised if there were homophobic comments towards Young during promos.

WWE fucked up by not turning Eugene heel by having him reveal he was faking it.

There is no one more fucking insufferable to listen to than Vince Russo. And that's a #shoot.

But honestly though, he was right about the Kevin Owens vs Cesaro match. I looked it up on the network after seeing that. It had some incredibly shitty selling.

I don't own any wrestling shirts.

Except for my ROH "farewell tour" Bryan Danielson t-shirt that he autographed on his last night in ROH.

Omfg! He could've been such a HUGE star imo. I wish we had a chance to see a serious match between he and Regal, hbk, or Benoit. I remember this was around the time when they were getting rid of the character, some of the fans screamed, "Eugene you can do better!" and responded, "I know." Got him some heat but he deserved do much better, I'm still shocked that he came up with the idea of that character.

Hyper-athletic smaller guys, much faster and more movez-heavy matches, no ring psych, and bad selling are the legacy of ROH.

And we get to watch that legacy in primetime twice a week on cable television.

It's a mixed bag.

There's also a bunch of good Attitude Era themes that were just bought from catalogs and you'd hear in other places. Hardcore Holly and The Hardy Boyz are the notable examples. HH's theme can be heard all over the place.

I heard the hardy boyz music randomly on an episode of masterchef uk a few years back - odd

COnsidering some of the signs in the crowd directed at HBK during that era, I think it's a certainty that Young would have gotten some shit.

Dark Souls III really fucked up for me by ditching the second game's dual-wielding/power stances system. The newer weapon arts were a less than adequate replacement that I never bothered using after the first few hours.

Chuckle Brothers in a wrassleGAF thread, well I never. One of the greatest moments of my life was when I saw Barry Chuckle in Southend highstreet and shouted "TO ME!" at him and he shouted back "TO YOU!". Yep.

ROH don't come off particularly well here. They'll need the UK tour to be a success - looks like London might sell out. Liverpool will, as the building holds less than 200, but there's still a crazy number of tickets left for Leicester (perhaps £45 for seats 8 rows back is asking a bit too much).

That chuckle brother moment would rival the birth of my children as the highlight of my life.

I wonder if enough time has passed for me to adopt the catchphrase as my own, I'm going to try it out.

I bet the people bitching and moaning about Indie selling also mark out for Japanese wrestlers spending 10 minutes taking turns dropping each other right on their heads.

Hey, Menome and Co., should I ever change over to that two-handed weapon mode in Bloodborne? I forgot all about it, switched over to it briefly, and didn't do very well.

Get your strength and stamina brother! In the beginning I stayed one handed unless I knew for sure I could take the foe on.

You need Ludwig's sword, you'll never use it single-handed. It's the sheeeeit.

You know you've been in Wrasslegaf too long when you skim the Off Topic threads and read "Young Bucks Voice Skepticism on Hillary Clinton, Worrying Democrats"

If you got the hunter's axe (like I suggested, *ahem*), the R2 attack in two-handed mode is really great for mobs.

Different circumstances and of course, your own comfort in combat, dictate how much you use a weapon's secondary mode.

I can't advise too much on the axe as I play DEX characters, so I was using the Cane, Rapier and Katana weapons.

Are you saying I don't need to worry about going two-handed?

Do you just find that? Or purchase it later? Can I not just use my axe and gun through the whole game?
You can go through the whole game with any of the weapons. Just be sure to upgrade them.

I wouldn't really worry about it too much, just build your stats up so you're quick and strong. But when you really want to use the two handed feature, you'll be able to one swipe kill. Are you still on the first stage?

Give that guy a make over and he's a star. He was already one of the best grapples in the company. I can't stop thinking about it now.

Give that guy a makeover and he's IC-tier at the absolute most in that era. Being technically sound doesn't get you a top spot.

What is a DEX character?

And rapier? Katana?? What have you done to me, Biggest-Geek-Ever?! Look at this crummy axe!

(Just kidding. You said it's good for beginners and that's what I need.)

You need to acquire a badge first, which unlocks it at the shop in Hunters Dream. If you've defeated the mega-cunt known as the Blood Starved Beast, you should be able to access the badge.

Heard a few of them in porn when growing up.

At first I thought it might fly under the radar given the WWE's handling of the character. Remember, it never outright mentioned Eugene was developmentally disabled, or whatever they call it.

Then I thought about the culture of outrage we've cultivated.

But then I remembered the WWE is a big supporter of the special olympics.

So I am conflicted on the matter. But I think the WWE might get away relatively unscathed with the gimmick.

In that era when they were lacking guys to step up to the plate, I think he could've faired pretty well from it. Obviously on Raw it was out of the picture but he could've done some nice things on sd. At least you had a chance there.

Thanks for the Pro Tipz.

And I actually haven't played since beating Father Whatever earlier. I don't want to overwhelm myself or get frustrated. So yeah, I'm thinking I'm on the first stage, yeah? How many bosses are there in Stage One?
