WWE.com saying Jeff Hardy has a torn rotator cuff and will have surgery

Meltzer reported that it was just shoulder surgery next week, this is a bit more.

It's time. It's time for Matt to break out on his own for a bit.

Meh Reigns doesn’t do Super Cena shit really.

He's been the protagonist of this company for 3 years.

He's headlined the last 3 Wrestlemanias.

He retired the Undertaker.

He beat Cena clean after 3 AA's and 1 super AA (no one has done that before, not even Brock).

We are in the presence of Super Reigns. And I hope people are ready for a decade of it. (If #5years doesn't work out that is)

I thought Super Cena was about him winning all his matches and killing the momentum of new guys rather then the push he got meaning the accomplishments.

Like beating the Nexus 2 to 1 after a concrete ddt or easily beating Sandow when one handed (though I don't care for that at all really).

And despite all that, it's still not like Super Cena in a comparable amount of time. He was called Super Cena because he didn't just beat guys every few months, but on a monthly basis, while being world champion, and also inventing new submissions to tap out other submission specialists like Benoit in 7 minutes on a random episode of Raw.

He was a better wrestler, submission specialist, underdog, overdog, and human being. And stars were built up to be fed to him before essentially disappearing into midcard eternity (he even did that to Wyatt and Rusev after the Super Cena era ended).

There's a big difference between Super Cena who basically ran through the roster on a weekly and monthly basis, and Reigns who goes Super Saiyan for his big matches only, and spends half the year in the undercard making others look good.

And Brock squashed Cena worse than he's squashed some jobbers in the past. We're gonna pretend like beating Cena is some huge unique feat when he's already lost clean to a bunch of guys after giving them multiple AAs. I mean, Nakamura no sold his AA and put him down on an episode of SDL.

WWE Raw preview, Sept. 25, 2017: “Miz TV” to kick off Raw with special guest Roman Reigns
In the wake of Roman Reigns’ iconic victory over 16-time World Champion John Cena, Intercontinental Champion The Miz is looking to hit The Big Dog with a slew of hard questions on “The Most Must-See TV Show in WWE History.”

Full Details

What will happen when Reigns is the guest on a special “Miz TV” to kick off Raw?
John Cena blasts Roman Reigns with an Attitude Adjustment: WWE No Mercy 2017 (WWE Network Exclusive)01:47
In an iconic showdown that took both Roman Reigns and John Cena to the absolute limit in a barrage of Attitude Adjustments, Spears and Superman Punches, The Big Dog overcame the 16-time World Champion at WWE No Mercy. Cena raised Reigns’ hand, and a mutual respect was evident between the two tremendous competitors. More importantly, The Big Dog showed once and for all that he is indeed ready to stand at the top of WWE.

In the aftermath, though, The Miz proposed a special “Miz TV” to Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, an exclusive interview that he would conduct with Reigns to ask hard-hitting questions concerning the black-clad Superstar’s epic match against Cena, recent buzz surrounding Reigns and his “old buddies” and more.

Yes, Alexa Bliss emerged victorious against the odds in an extremely turbulent Fatal 5-Way Raw Women’s Championship Match at WWE No Mercy, but how will the chaotic free-for-all transform the Women’s division moving forward? Can Alexa and Nia Jax just go back to being best friends? What about Bayley and Sasha Banks? Who came out of the fray in the best position to challenge the “Goddess of WWE” next? Moreover, the announcement that dominant former NXT Champion Asuka will make her main roster debut at WWE TLC will surely make for an even more unstable Women’s division

Super Reigns would just move to a different company. Not EVOLVE obviously because lmfao @ gabe, but maybe ROH

Roman is over pushed for his ability. WWE really need to brimg in a top face who has years on his side. I can't think of a face in the company who is worth pushing like a Cena.

They'll all be booed when the Shield comes back as an obvious way to get Reigns cheered, so at least in HHH's mind, they'll already be heels and actually it worked the way it was intended, give him the company

They should never have gone face. All have got worse since they did or tried to. They will need to change the music though.

It's why once Cena has gone I can see them going in big for Kenny.

Cody is decent in the ring , miz is worse then cody. He does have good mic work though.

Cody and miz aren't in the same league. Cody is average in the ring and beyond bad on the mic Wrestlers have to do two things well to get over, Cody does neither well.

Who the fuck is that ref?

Not sure who he was but storyline wise Scott Steiner got fined for beating up one of the WCW refs so JJ Dillon said no WCW ref wants to officiate any match with Steiner. Steiner then beat up JJ Dillon and Steiner hired his own nwo ref.

I can't find out who the ref was tho.

Can't believe they had Cena/Reigns on a nothing ppv and it wasn't even the main event. What the hell are they saving for Mania? Brock/Roman? AJ/Nakamura? Enzo/Ellsworth?

No one should be getting a push like Cena did. Not even Cena himself should've gotten that. I don't see how there was any real benefit to that super push. All they did was build a poisonous relationship with their hardcore fans, and now they're being punished for that.

And it's not like they couldn't have still benefitted from the positives of Cena without giving him the Hogan treatment on steroids. Their position today is direct result of that decade long push, and I don't see how anyone is going to look back on that as a good thing in the future.

There's more balance now with Reigns on top compared to ten years ago with Cena, since he's not steamrolling the roster at least, but the difference is you don't have a bunch of veteran stars like Taker, HHH, and HBK on the roster, nor do you have a new star who is also huge like Batista to balance out the starpower.

You have Reigns in the top guy spot, a bunch of part-timers, and a bunch of Edges and Ortons (this is your Rollins, Styles, Ambrose, Owens today). There's a big gap there in the middle where your Batista, Taker, HBK, and HHH should be. The guys who have that big time feel, and are essentially next to your top guy in terms of legitimacy. And that's because the guys who should've been in those spots today (Batista, Cena, Punk, Edge) are either retired or part-time.

It's why I feel they wasted SDL this year. Styles is a bore as a face and is stuck with the US title, and the WWE title scene may as well not exist. Since Brock/Reigns has to happen, you could at least use SDL to build one big star like Balor or give someone like Rollins that little extra push to feel like a legit top star.
