Howd you get the gtab simi clock to look like that? I've been trying to do something similar but can't get the weather and battery icons to stack on top of the clock...

I did use ur idea of posting shortcuts on the left side since I always keep it at the left pocket and hardly ever use the right hand, brilliant!

I got a little bit tired of MIUI and went back to an AOKP-based ROM. Tried to keep it usable. And yes, I'm a fan of inconsistent icons so no replacements or rounded-square-ization for me.

3-screen setup, most of everything's pushed off to the first and third screens

On Apex Pro, swiping down calls up the notification pane, I make use of icon gestures so I've essentially got 5 x 2 icons in the dock

Icons are Metrostation

Not a fan of live wallpapers at all but I find Xperia's Cosmic Flow appealing so I got the ripped apk and I'm running with that for a while

Also, if you're on ICS you really need to install Notification Toggle...so good.

It's got some pretty crazy features that I've not seen in other launchers, but it's damn pricey. Over £10 in the UK Play store. I tried it out last night for just under 15 minutes (so I could get a refund) and it's just too different to what I'm used to. It's a shame there's no free version so that I could test it out properly.

6-8 of on screen time? Wow, that's impressive. I could only squeeze 2 hours max of my LTE GN with AOKP and Franco.

It's hideous because your home screen looks like a rotary dial :p

well idk, I was going for minimalism.

I made those icons out of an existing template using ahem MS paint (LOL)

Dots won't do, I guess I was aiming for most black on a screen at any given time
since amoled screens if it's black it means the pixels are off or something.

it does look kinda shit @ times I must admit almost barren
but dat battery life

try using Lean kernel with AOKP B40 and undervolt and underclock to your preference (switch gov- hotplugX)
since I got the phone back in march it was just customizing like mad until I squeezed every ounce of battery life I can get basically fuck aesthetics battery life is king.

Hope Jelly Bean AOKP is even better though overall.

it might be, but even I'm surprised I just usually just end up on GAF or reddit, 4chan most of the time anyways

which explains the 6-8hrs of on screen time.... when your just browsing forums and checking email on the go, it just sips juice from the battery.

no point to porn on a train or bus or well walking in the streetz....

Flash is merely (I'm just glad to have it on my mobile platform of choice thing)

I mean I was worried about the nav bar for the galaxy nexus when I first heard about it taking up precious 1280x720 screen space.

bam removed with custom roms and replaced with a Pie quick controls via a app.

plus it's endlessly customizable...

I just have mines simple and black

It's UCCW with bars, a Mass Effect wallpaper I'll link to whenever you want, and Nova Launcher with Cold Fusion icons.

Wallpaper is brilliant and gorgeous. Custom made or is it somewhere online?

I always feel bad when I come into this thread. My Nexus is so boring in comparison :(

Does anyone know of an app that can be used to change the icons for apps on the lock screen of a Galaxy S3? Thanks.

(To clarify, I know how to change which apps are listed there, but I want to be able to select a different icon for a given app.)

nope, surprisingly it only shows up in the middle edge of the screen

and the browser quick controls show up on every edge besides the middle

the quick system pie controls show up on left or right on both sides of the screens works great in both portrait and landscape mode.

so having system quick controls is amazing to me as I'd always hated the nav bar, locking off a part of the screen is just bad imo

LMT APK download and install from the XDA site forum

configure auto start and turn off the nav bar

I've had this set up since day one, as soon as I heard that the nav bar can be replaced with this, I got a nexus the very day. again

full screen nexus ftfw

The full screen toggle app does a framework hack(since I'm on a stock rom). I did it anyways, lol.

Is there anyway to get the gestures to activate from the bottom instead of the sides? I set the gravity to the bottom but it cuts off the bottom of the ring.

Kinda don't like that there's no way to see when there's a menu oveflow. =/

e: rotation bug is killing me. Will give it another shot in a couple of days since author says he's fixed it.
