I love unorthodox-looking pawns so much. The character creators allow you to go wild, it's great when people get creative.

Btw, I am so glad they added Quina's hair style to the available hair styles. It wasn't there originally (I remember seeing her early in the game and going "wut, why can't I have her hair??). As someone with super long hair I always want this on my characters since my first time playing I tend to make someone that kind of look like me and I am always disappointed that they're never long enough.
I guess it was later added as DLC and since the PC version includes all DLCs it's there now. I think I'll give my Arisen and/or Pawn a haircut/extension... I hate the circlet clipping though. >_<

The character customization in this game is awesome. I don't think I've ever been this happy with how a custom created character turned out:

I hate how big and bulky those sigils are on the armor. It's a shame too because it seems to be used on a ton of heavy torso armor.

There's a barbershop in Gran Sorem where you can get haircuts, redo makeup and such, but I don't think it allows for a complete overhaul beyond that.
wrong, there's an item that allows for a one time change before the post-game at the cassardis outpost place where you first get your pawn
i believe it costs 5000 RC
in postgame and ng+ you can buy an item that allows you to change it infinitely that costs 10k RC

Finally got a pic I sorta like. At lvl 20-ish and we just killed our first Chimera.
Made and remade a whole bunch of characters before realising what I wanted to play. Picked the child simply because it's so very rare in games. It's great fun so far!
Main pawn is the red haired lady in the back and she's a sorcerer. The huge lady to the right is also in my party at all times since that's my SO's main pawn, a healer. Little brother leveled way too far ahead so I hire random fighter/warrior pawns on my level instead of using his
