Corsair HX-650.

How do you go about cleaning the Zalman?

Well, my PSU is more powerful! (Corsair HX850). Other than that - 6950 2 gig, i5-2500k 3.3 (OCed to 4.1 in bios but I'm not sure it is working because Core Temp shows only 3.3), Kingston 6 gig Hyper-X.

As for Zalman I use a cleaning brush for my camera lenses. But I can't get right to the bottom with it so it's always a bit dusty. BUT there are some better cleaning brushes, I just never bothered with buying them. also your case is bigger than mine, so you might have less problems with it.

I went with a GTX 570 1.2gb that was a weekend special for $315, hope that was a good deal. Hope I'm in for a treat when I get it! Bye bye GTX 260!

Wait, if you had the Portals like that.. wouldn't the shit gain speed and bounce back up... inside?!

Ha i love this conversation. Actually I guess the underside of the lid would technically be the best. If its closed your good and if its open the momentum would prob be enough to shoot it into the toilet without arching past it.

This is where I spend most of my time. Not too pretty but good enough. Could tidy it up a bit more but it's fine I guess

That case looks immense...

May I ask what it is? :)

Today

TV Unit still the same, except for the extra Junpei hat which has to find a new home

5947903243_efa9c6a5ea_z.jpg

The Expedit unit is new, as-is for $30. I can finally have my amp setup nicely and I got my Gameboy pic in a frame.

5947905329_e8e5849c69_z.jpg

Just gotta get frames for the bunch of pictures I have rolled up in the closet. And get some shelves installed in the tall white unit so I can spread the stuff out a bit. My book are crammed in. Oh and I want to re-cover my chair. Still really comfy but looks pretty ugly. All in time I guess.

Thats a very cool pic, and I like the setup, especially the plant and the statues. What are the statues?

I really like the window blind, too. Very nice, cohesive look you've got.

It's amazing what a little organization can do! I recently came into some good fortune and got a free 27in POS-TFT-LCDTV, the blacks look like film negatives. But the price was right. It works great as a second monitor to have iTunes or Twitter open or whatever. Anyway, receiving the panel spurred me to do a little rethinking of my setup, and this is what I came up with. Its badass.
:lol it looks like that chair is worth more than everything else in that room.

Fantastic set ups in this thread

Here is my current setup for PC gaming, i like the fourth screen as i can keep my clients open there (Foobar for music for racing games, twitter, etc) while i play in the 3 screens below:

Honestly, i play lots of racing games but i usually detest the selection of music in them so i almost always have Foobar running in the background, when i went from 1 to 2 screens it was awesome to see what was next on the playlist so that i knew ahead of time if i wanted to skip a song, but once i moved to triple screen gaming i lost that, with the 4th i get that back and i can still play with 3 screens. Screen on the keyboard is great for CPU usage, clock, network usage, volume of my system, some games even support it and show you scoreboards and stuff :)

The colors in this picture are awesome, and props to the musical selection.

Nice setup. What shelves were you using to display your mighty muggs?

Ikea shelves. I got them in the dark gray version of the Lerberg a long while ago and spray painted them white to match the room as it stands now. They are meant for DVDs/CDs but hold Mighty Muggs just as well.

Gotta do a better job in hiding the wiring. I also have to do something about the ugly ass box the TV is sitting on but I don't want to move my center speaker any lower and mounting the monitor on the wall is not an option.

Unit has a sparco seat that is ajustable, a ps3, xbox 360, and a PC, all hooked up to a 46 inch samsung led 3dtv with a bose surround sound system complete with a subwoofer under the seat that makes it rumble. The steering wheel is a Porsche 911 force feedback wheel.

System is fucking insane, loving it so far! Also check out what just came in Sunday:

Good lord im jelly. Gadget porn all over my face.

Just scrolled down far enough to realize Regs was back in here shitting on everyone with his setups and cars. Damn. Time to pack it up y'all. Hahaha. Much <3 Regs.

^^dude your setup looks amazing. im not familiar with that brand of speaker but how does it sound?

Btw i just replaced some components.

My Thiels CS1.5's went kaput, and so did my Harman Kardon 240 Amp.

I replaced them with a Denon AVR 1911 which seemed to get great reviews for midrange amps (7.1, HDMI, 3D, upscaling , 90w per channel) and a pair of JBL ES100's.

VERY happy so far with the speakers. havent fully calibrated and explored them but the sound is crisp up the top end, nice warm middle end and some real punch in the bass coming out. very good so far and thoroughly recommended cheapish speaker and amp combo.

Nice to see you posting again, Regs!

Some nice setups on this page too, love it.

I have everything stuffed into the spare bedroom while I work on a dedicated gaming room, so consider this the "before" setup.

TcBaf.jpg

HDTV stuck in the corner.

HIbKK.jpg

Stealth PS3/360 setup.

kxveP.jpg

My "retro" setup. The WEGA is intentional, SD games look like ass on my HDTV. Systems are as follows: PS2, PSPgo, Wii, N64, Xbox, Saturn, Dreamcast. The Wii's also softmodded to play NES, TG16, Genesis and SNES games without the hassle of digging actual systems out of my closet.

cQ014.jpg

Most of the stuff is going through a handy Component switch. Everything else is connected through S-Video.

3J6kp.jpg

Tacky PS2 stand glamour shot. Picked it up from a fellow gaffer recently.

TRCoS.jpg

My DS games are boxed up somewhere, my PSP collection however is actually that small now that I have a PSPgo.

8rumf.jpg

Boring current gen stuff. Bunch of GBA games in a tupperware container.

cjhEc.jpg

Some older titles. Those blank cases are filled with loose Saturn and Dreamcast games, I don't even know what I did with the cases. Not shown are my SNES and TG16 games as I have no room at the moment and never play the physical copies anyways.

Not the greatest collection but I've only adopted a collecting mentality recently after years of selling stuff off. Expect fancy new game room pics within the month. PEACE!

what are those curtains/blinds called?
Not sure what they would be called in english, in sweden they are called "hiss-gardin". A direct translation would be elevator-curtain or lift-curtain. :P

Perfect writer's setup. I would love to sit at your computer and knock out a couple movie scripts. Damn.

There's a waterfall just outside the window aswell. I like to keep the balcony door open and hear it in the background, very soothing. :)

The speakers are from Heco and the Subwoofer comes from Nubert. Those are two of the best speaker manufacturers in Germany, that's why you are not familiar with. AVR comes from Yamaha. Sound quality is just amazing whether it's Stereo or Multichannel. Honestly, it sounds a lot better than our multiplex theaters. By the way, the backdrop lighting is only switched on when I'm listening to music. I don't like coloured backdrop lighting or backdrop lighting at all when watching movies.
