I do think it will happen but this is just a repost of the pretty questionable rumour from MLID.

I seriously doubt it's Silent Hills by Kojima. My money is on a reboot by Japan Studio and that Kojima is doing something else entirely.

well, Kojima is fired, Norman Reedus' face is somewhat present in that trailer for an unreleased game and they might have to pay him some royalties or smth so it's more convenient to wipe out PT from existence than deal with all that, it really has nothing to do with a new game

Kojima should just stick to his own studio making his westaboo games. And while I loved Sony's japan studio, and I have faith that they could handle it. Sony of Commiefornia would without a doubt meddle with the development of such a big game. Almost definitely turn it it to shit.

Pt was a god awful game/demo anyways, how anyone who actually played it could be hyped for silent hills is beyond me.
