Downloading at 9.5 mb/s through Steam right now, this is crazy fast.

I just hope by some miracle the game unlocks earlier than Friday evening. Seeing a thousand livestreams pop up and still have to wait 3 days because of reasons is torture.

My experience isn't universal, but the extreme SSAO causes framerate issues and also graphics glitches for me.

You can murder the framerate in Amnesia by cranking the SSAO setting too high. SSAO is one of those things that you can, in theory, keep increasing in detail for very minor IQ gains at a huge performance cost. Those with performance issues should try turning it down. The visual different will probably be barely noticeable.

Heh...they made the same mistake as CDProjekt did with The Witcher 2. Supersampling is a great option and making it available is fine, but you need to warn people that turning it on incurs a huge performance hit.

"Quality" is just FXAA, I believe.

Haha, this is probably true. The PC features vid did point out the game supported super sampling. Nobody in their right mind, unless they're running SLI/Crossfire or have a state of the art card, should be using super sampling.
