It reminds me of something said by Remedy (I think) when they put the FoV slider under controls instead of graphics options. Some PC gamers habitually turn everything up to max.

doesnt sound like a badly optimized game to me. You'll probably get average 60 if you crank AA down (playing at 1080p anyway)

Yeah. Those are all max settings with high res DLC. Something is up with your guys rigs.

The tip is to *not* put AA or SSAO on "extreme". It's not really visually necessary anyway.
This game looks awesome btw, I have to admit I'm surprised. I did not think this would be more polished than Darksiders 2.
Turn the AA lower. It is using a Supersampling method. You can't run Extreme with good frames.

I get average 45 frames, and random drops in 30. Maxed out, no AA.
AWESOME. Running i2500k and 460 so I should be around the same frames.
Sooo happy it is a great port. Cant wait until Friday.

Woops...yeah, high. There is no Extreme SSAA. Just tried Extreme AA...not worth the drop at this point.

It's using almost 2gb of Vram at 1080p? Damn that is some heavy V-Ram usage.

Yeah, Extreme uses insane Super Sampling, which is great for screenshots, not so great for gameplay.
It's a button at the bottom of the screen when you go under advanced settings.

Well if someone has dual GTX 680 they should be able to run it quite solidly. As for myself:
For those complaining about the lack of high res textures...I don't have the time to download them tonight, and they shouldn't really effect performance anyways.
