Smoothest Vodka (or alcoholic drink) you've ever tasted?

The 17 yo Hibiki appears to be pretty expensive (for me at least) now that I checked. Are any of the cheaper versions worth it?

Polish vodkas distilled from potatoes. Easy to drink and I rarely have a hangover with it. Grain vodkas always give me a massive headache the next day.

The thing with Vodka is that there is not that big of a difference between premium and ultra premium. Now tequila, is another story. There's a huge delta between the ultras and the standards. I suggest Avion.

Someone got me and my girl a bottle of Belvedere as a present when we moved in together, and I think that it Grey Goose have been the best vodkas I've ever had ✌🏽️

Could be because i drank so much of it when i was younger but Sky Vodka goes down like water for me but these days if i do drink which i rarely do it's either Grey Goose or some sort of scotch/whiskey mixed.

The Nikka Coffey Malt while probably not as good is still worth a try it's still $60-70 a bottle though. The Hibiki Suntory is supposed to be something special though. I work at a liquor store and I don't think I've ever had single high end product recieve as much praise as the Hibiki 17 year. The Japanese whiskies in general get a lot of respect. So much so that on my meager $10/hr pay I've seriously considered buying one of the pricier bottles and I only drink like once a month.

Flor de Caña is definitely the best I've had as far as rum. Smoothness is pretty important to me now that I almost exclusively drink unmixed liquor neat.

Smoothest, is the stuff i distill with my dad. Aged in a oak barrel for a couple years. 50% alcohol, but you wouldn't think it. Sooo good

For me the smoothest vodka, is definitely Belvedere, with Grey Goose not far behind

Smoothest whisky I've had was glenfiddich 18, like I was surprised at how easy it was to drink as I usually don't take whisky straight

Smoothest vodka I have drunk is this:

But I'm not much of a spirit drinker these days.

That's great stuff. Love those bison grass vodkas.

Chopin is my favourite regular vodka. It's a Polish potato vodka, with a great flavour. I did some highly scientific testing on a visit to Krakow, and I preferred it to the others I tried.

I'm not so keen on grain vodka, or vodka in general. I generally like spirits that taste of something other than alcohol.

Also, working in a chemistry lab with a vodka hangover and having to do ethanol extractions is the purest form of nausea.

I recently had some walnut moonshine made by a local near my cousin's farm that was pretty wonderful, and I normally don't even really enjoy alcohol.
