No kidding! They suppose to be releasing online on the 17th. I'll try my luck then. A little salty passing on the 6s but funds are tight now given the season

Eh honestly, the price might be a little high but at the end of the day, we are still winning because we have more opportunities to get the shoes we want at a better price point. Not necessarily cheaper, but way better than 300+ because of resellers.
That's just how I look at it because when they start making "limited" releases again then we all will be moaning and groaning about how we couldn't get our favorite shoe because they under produced and bots/resellers.
Let those Cement 4s sit on shelves so I can pick them up with my next paycheck two weeks from now lol. That'll be a dream come true.

My niece asked for sneakers for christmas, and I was able to identify the ones she wanted as KD 7 Lightning 534s, which unfortunately they didn't make in her size. I'll have to break that to her soon.

Picked up a pair of the 5.0 Frees, Flash variety. I mostly wanted them because of not only the 3M but also because they're water repellant. Just wanted another pair of Frees to wear as beaters as they're quite comfortable.

I've seen them for sale at a few Foot Locker locations in my area. Could be sitting as well, due to the "chrome" release on the 19th...
I'm happy as a sneaker fan to be able to buy a pair if I wanted. You can't say that a lot of the time these days.
After weeks of watching cancellations on the Nike Free Flyknit 3.0 Gyakusou for a Size 9 to show up, I caved and ordered a 9.5 that went up today.
Upgrading from OG Free Flyknit (not sure if it would be the equivalent of a 3.0 or 4.0?) Size 9 I wore with socks and no insole, hoping that the 9.5 will either not be too lose or that I wore my 9.0s in over time. Not a fan of going sockless.
Edit: Christ, what a nightmare ordering from Nike is (admittedly by my own errors, but still). I hurriedly added it to my cart when I first saw it, then realized I was logged in on a different window. So I went to my logged in window to add it to my cart, and was hit with the 'In Cart: reserved for a few minutes' error. I did what I thought was the natural conclusion at the time; removed it from my cart, and tried again. Same error. Again, and again, and again. And so I realized that the timer keeps going even though it was removed from the cart it was reserved for, okay. I wait a few minutes, still, few more minutes, still. By the end I realize that it takes 10 minutes, which they refer to as 'a few' instead.
Amidst my panic of trying to get my shoe back into my cart (only 1 left, which I had been waiting literal weeks to see show up) heart sinking with the for certain thought that someone else had seen it go up and managed it into their cart before I could get it again, I made a mistake. I finally got it to go through, and rushed through checkout with the thought that someone else might have carted it but I might be able to rush through checkout fast enough to get it before them. Minutes later, I realize I forgot to do cash back and wasted money.
Not satisfied with learning my lesson, I cancelled the order (reading that you have a 30 minute window to do so after ordering), intending to immediately repurchase it. Didn't show back up for sale immediately, as I expected, 10 minutes later. I used cash back, added it to cart, went through checkout..and it said my gift card was short the entire value of the shoe's balance. Despite giving you a 30 minute window to cancel your order, Nike takes the full price from your gift card instantly. But 10 minutes after cancelling, it wasn't reimbursed. I was now faced with the horrific possibility of having to juggle the shoes between carts to reserve it for the next 2 straight hours in the middle of the night until chat opened, so they could tell me something like "your gift card refund should show up within 24 hours". Thankfully, it only took a half hour, and I was able to re-order them at that point. Insanely stressful.
Speaking of the gift card, I love Nike's return/warranty policy. Except that was another frustration in itself, I returned a shoe insisting to the chat agent I was setting it up with that the original gift card I used to purchase the shoe was thrown away a while back and that I needed a new gift card for the refund to go onto. The Agent assured me I would, and after my reiterating went so far as to void out my original gift cards to prevent any chance at my refund going to them.
As it turned out, I would have been better off if they hadn't, because they didn't set up my return to go to new gift cards at all. So it tried to refund to my original gift cards (which in hind sight, I learned they can reissue new gift cards to you in such a circumstance, presumably instantly), and on the back end it failed (because they were voided out). But it didn't say it failed, it said my refund was processed on my end. So every time I contacted a Chat Agent about how I never got my gift cards, I was given one of a bunch of different wrong answers, consistently. Including one chat an agent, in two responses, gave me 5 separate contradictions (all ignoring what I said in the first place). It took me 5 extra days to get my refund after managing to talk to a Supervisor who figured out what happened, which was 5 days a Size 9 might have shown up and broke my heart.
tl;dr: A shoe is reserved to you, in your cart, on Nike.com for 10 minutes after you add it to your cart. A cancelled order takes 10 minutes to go back up for sale. It takes 30 minutes for your gift card to be reimbursed for a cancelled order. Don't let a Nike Chat Agent void your lost gift card, it wont stop a refund going to it, but rather just makes the refund harder to recover.

It seems like nowadays if you don't have a bot or aren't a programmer to get those backdoor links then you're fucked.

I sold my legend blues too. Kinda miss them but I honestly think they're kinda...tacky? Something just made me not like them.
But those South Beaches tho. Not sure how that'll fit on my feet...hmm

I went on EBay and for my size in the SBBs, looking at $300+, smh. That and the Chicago had ridiculous resell prices (well not Royal and Bred prices a year after they last retro'd).

Word, the resell price is ridiculous, but I just found some dude on Kixify whose selling the SBBs and Chicago 1s for $260. If you want I could PM you the link.

Wore my black/white Racers today. I'm gonna need another pair of these soon, I wear them every weekend. I've read that a black/white 3.0 might be coming back out this year, so hopefully.

These are the black/white 2.0s that released with the black tongue back in January 2015. The ones with the volt flywire are unappealing in person and currently sitting in a lot of stores I've been to.
Thanks! Such a struggle to get a pair, ended up having to use a BD link, I helped a few people get them. Funny story, I told my brother about it the day before, he could hav egot a pair but he slept through the release cause he didn't think I could help him.

Just arrived after having placed an order for them on New Year's Eve during dinner. These are the End. x Saucony Grid 9000 'White Noise'. Craziest thing about these is that the shoebox is made entirely out of plexiglass.

Now that I have disposable income I'm looking to get back in to sneakers. If you could only get one, which would you choose? I want a pair of mostly black sneakers as street shoes.
0. Adidas Ultra Boost (this colorway can be got 30% off at Road Runner Sports). I also have Crazylight Boost that I actually play in and they're super comfy.
1. Nike Flight 96. Had these as a kid.
2. Penny Max 1 in Black. I always wanted these, but in the Orlando colorway. These are still pretty cool.
Edit: I ordered the Ultra Boosts. I may also get the Flight 96s, since they're only $65 at Jimmy Jazz. I saw the Penny Max 1's in a store and they're bulkier than I remember so I'm not getting them.
