Does the pro controller have a headphone jack? Does the standard joycon?
All Nintendo systems are sold out here when I've checked. It's like a famine hit just that aisle.Have they restocked any 3DS systems yet? I remember there being stock issues with those too.

It was an absolute shitshow in europe, you couldn't find one in stores for literally the first 4-6 months.Maybe have a second shipment ready to go once the initial launch stock sitting in stores for weeks inevitably sold out on day 1? I dunno.
Sony's PS4 launch is the gold standard for hardware. Nintendo should have taken notes.

Here in italy is the same, i can go in any shop and buy zelda a pro controller and a switch neo with any problem. The funny thing is, in Finland all of the bigger shops around me have always had 1-20 Switches on the shelves. Guess Finland is not that big of a Nintendo country.
The shop in the first picture actually has more on the shelves to the right. Like a lot more.
I hear it's the same in Mexico, but they are crazy expensive down there.
What were they going to do, up production on the 4th and have them selling today?
This is why you wait, folks![]()
I just want to know why I don't have the option to pre-order one on Amazon for MSRP, rather than only having the option to buy from scalpers. Like, Amazon.es has the option, so why can't I do it on Amazon.com? Am I just missing something?
What a pain...
I swallowed the scalper bullet and paid $380. Really only a $50 mark up when you factor in tax.

Hello,
I'm sorry to hear about the problem you've had with your The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch.
On this occasion, we don't require you to return the original. You're welcome to keep, donate or dispose of it - whichever option is most appropriate and convenient for you.
I've requested a refund for 56.79 USD, which includes the cost of the item and its associated shipping costs. This refund will go through within the next 3-5 business days and will appear as a credit on your billing statement. Please note that this does not include your bank's processing time.
So,
Amazon didn't ship the copy of Zelda I ordered Friday till today, even though I had one day shipping.
So I attempted to get a refund of the shipping cost and the representitive offered me a $5 credit, which I wasn't going to complain about but I still did want the shipping refunded.
He said that would be fine and they would make an exception and refund me the shipping.
Then I get this lovely e-mail from Amazon.
So,
I just got BoTW for free.
Edit:
My Switch Doesn't even come in till tomorrow so this works out perfectly.

a new shipment is set to drop soon. Target might have some as soon as next week.Man I can't find a switch in North Florida for under $425, if anyone has an extra or could help me out, I would really be appreciative.....I've got a 5 year old that is freaking out about not having one, lol. I could see paying $350-375, but c'mon it is ridiculous with the scalpers.

Spanish Switch update:
Mine has arrived in Detroit, my city.
It'll be delivering tomorrow!
I got mine for normal price by importing from Amazon Spain. You don't have to pay extra, it is no different than an American system, and it ships in reasonable time (a week for me).
Everything in my Gamestop bundled shipped except the system, SD card, and the charging dock.
Weird.
not bad enough. my eBay hasn't sold at $400 yet.

I've seen them at every Target, Bestbuy and Walmart here in Florida.
Last night on Boogie2988's stream there was someone asking repeatedly - and sounding genuine - if they should pay $430 for a Switch resale. Should you pay more then MSRP of a product that will be in stores most likely sooner than later?
The worst part isn't that you're paying over MSRP : You support resalers.
It's your money blah blah blah, but fuck that annoys me with concert tickets, people actively supporting this garbage.
Do you have the link?
My Switch departed from San Jose a couple hours ago, I am about 30 minutes from there.
Should be getting it tomorrow! Zelda as well.
https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSw..._a_target_employee_in_southern_california_we/As a target employee in Southern California, we got some info from corporate today on when and how many switches we'll be getting.
We got some info in a corporate email today that says to expect the next allocation of Nintendo switches to arrive between march 19-25 and to expect 10-12 units per store on average.
Take that as you will, even though it lays out some idea of what to expect, it still sounds a little broad. We should be able to see in our system when they are on their way and what day to expect them as they get closer to shipping out to our stores.
I have my Zoolert alert set up. Hopefully I can get a Switch today online. I gave up on trying to find one physically in NYC, so online is my only option then.
Now I'm debating whether to get Neon or Gray. Gray looks ok, altho a bit boring. Neon looks a bit more childish but looks prettier. Dunno, what you guys/gals think?

Looks like they're out again, but you can still order it for the current price and they'll send it when it's available.
Awesome! I can't wait. Tomorrow shall be a glorious day.
Glad I impulse bought it. Very thankful for this useful thread.
This is almost exactly how I got my PS4 a few years back, which got me back into gaming.
No plannig. Just someone saying "you can get this sold out system at this website" and me taking the leap.
Same here, thought I would wait til the end of the year but Zelda hype got me.
