Ridiculing the guy about buying an inferior product and then half this forum is going to buy that EA basketball game with Mario in it,which will more than likely be inferior(no live play and its engine not being developed on the Cube) to the other versions on competing platforms. don't draft me into your lynch mob. we have a guy on this forum who has component video cables for consoles he doesn't own, and a guy who must own every game in every franchise he buys into. i personally spend loads of money importing every mediocre 2d shooter there is. waiting for a graphically inferior port because it'll have extra content is, by comparison, a very tame quirk. all this fuss is ridiculous. give nintendo fans a good game and they'll somehow become more insufferable.

I'm waiting for the PS2 version, too. I really don't want to give Nintendo the sale just CUZ. If I can pile my pebble on the avalanche that topples support away from Nintendo's next-gen console and puts Capcom squarely back in Sony-land with the price being a marginal graphic downgrade, SO BE IT.

I got a friend to sell me his copy of Baten Kaitos for 20$, worth it? is there a lot of gameplay or just another short RPG? I've read a couple of reviews on the game seems good but none mentioned the length of how long the average user would take to beat the entire thing.

If I were you, I'd pick up:
* A Game Boy Player. Great investment, especially if GB/GBC support is now gone from all future Nintendo handhelds.
* Super Smash Bros. Melee. Even if you never play it with a friend, you'll find the challenge mode interesting.
* Tales of Symphonia. Cel-shaded fun! Or something like that.
* Luigi's Mansion. It's-a fun.
* Alien Hominid. Yeah, you COULD get the PS2 version instead, but the GC version has the added advantage of being playable using the GC joystick. Whoo hoo!
* Resident Evil 4. Seriously -- stop whining about it and accept reality.

I only got SoAL cause I own the original for DC and it was a good RPG experience, just thought it would be cool to have a remake of a game I enjoyed playing for hours on end with my DC.
Paper Mario, I haven't played any Mario RPG game since... well Mario RPG on the SNES and that was a cool experience but I'm guessing it's nothing like Paper Mario right?
