I stopped using FB for about 3 years now, never got into Tumblr, Instragram, even Discord.

I signed up on my phone because my little son wants it, 10y/o, and I'm completely bombarded with girls dancing, boys pranking, women trying hard to show they still got it, and dad's just goofing off. I'm like, WTF is this thing? Browsed for a couple days, thought of some cool videos to record, then I'm like, WHY?

Am I getting too old or does it really take this little to entertain nowadays? Like if anyone were to bump my cart at Home Depot, first thing I'd do is look for that damn cameraman.

I'm not sure what it's like now, but I installed TikTok when it was new. It went like this:
-Installed.
-Front page (or whatever they called the 'top videos' thing at the time) was videos of 8 year olds doing mock stripper dances.
-Uninstall.

You have to pick out the cool people and follow them (literally mostly musicians, artists, people who do really good comedy on tiktok, animals and stuff) then you can just ignore the rest (all those underage prostitutes, stupid people and other stuff)

You are very much correct. I’m also annoyed LinkedIn which I use every day for professional reasons is becoming like Facebook, people start posting random shit and ‘share their feelings’.
