I'm in 100% hope it's steam deck confirmed but I very much doubt it will hit 60fps which makes me sadge.
Ugh. When has it been a crime to enjoy games?PS folks believe those games are the second coming of Christ. While it's just one more game among the dozens of thousands available on PC. And if we count emulation, total conversions and more the list is endless.
...so you'd prefer a young woman?I cant stand roguelikes and I'm not feeling the main char. I cant identify with a middle aged woman, call me a bigot or whatever, I like to play games where I can put myself in main char's shoes.
To those saying they will not be buying the game, keep this attitude please; you will only encourage Sony to abandon this PC initiative.

I think you are projecting when you say "PS folks believe those games are the second coming of Christ" because most people understand they are just games.
ah yes, the marketing impervious PC crowd lol.C'mon You know what I am talking about: No hype machine on PC. Games are seen for what they are and the cream rises to the top.
If returnal is a good game and it's well optimized it will sell just fine.
It is also not a crime for people to get excited about games they want to play or to be "hyped" for games they like, for a genre/type/etc they prefer. It really is NOT that big of a deal. lolDon't play dumb. You know what I am talking about: No hype machine on PC. Games are seen for what they are and the cream rises to the top.
Just saw your updated post. Focusing on the bolded, yeah, I take no issue with that.C'mon You know what I am talking about: No hype machine on PC. Games are seen for what they are and the cream rises to the top.

In my belly button. Imagine the pain when a new title gets announced...Tell me where the PC ports hurt you.
And same for TLOU. PC gaming is less about cinematic stuff and more focused on gameplay, it's been like that since forever.PS folks believe those games are the second coming of Christ. You should be happy about those PC ports my dude, it's (almost) free money for Sony therefore more games for you.In my belly button. Imagine the pain when a new title gets announced...
He didn't say it's a crime. He just thinks the game is overrated. He's definitely not alone in that opinion either. No idea why you have to lecture the guy.It is also not a crime for people to get excited about games they want to play or to be "hyped" for games they like, for a genre/type/etc they prefer. That's been true for any game that gains in popularity on any type of platform it launches on. We don't need to make something out of nothing all the time.
On PC, I have seen people get hyped up for games like Diablo, StarCraft, etc. It also depends on who YOU are personally paying attention to (which community).
I like to play games where I can put myself in main char's shoes.
Cool, I'll wait for it on game pass
/jk it's not my type of game but I'll definitely look forward to it as a benchmark since it's current gen only.

The Best. The trilogy kinda ruined gaming for me, cause nothing comes close to it now. Still have hope that maybe Starfield is finally the alternative for diversity's sake but it seems more grounded, not a space opera, I mean I'm sure I will enjoy it alot it just wont be able to feel like a proper alternative to ME. Casey Hudson is my hero, maybe the SF rpg hes working on with his new studio might be what I need. How was your time in the Systems Alliance Navy?

I never said they were alike, I just replied to AV who made a joke regarding the Alliance from Mass Effect cause I said I wanna immerse myself and be in the char's shoes.Returnal and Mass Effect are entirely different things. Also are you saying, you cant play as female characters? At the very least that would make some sense but still a bit silly, to push a game away just because of that. Returnal is amazing and I fucking hate rogue-likes.
Overrated based on what? Not that it matters to the point I was trying to make.He didn't say it's a crime. He just thinks the game is overrated. He's definitely not alone in that opinion either. No idea why you have to lecture the guy.
Again, I understand that it's silly that I cant play as female chars, I tried but I drop the games after 1-2h cause I dont get invested, I feel detached like watching a playthrough on youtube. I can see that they are quality games, TR, Horizon, Control, but if I dont get invested it doesnt matter in the end.

A lot of people here calling this a roguelike. It's not. But it's very, very good.
You're completely right, their games tend to have way higher requirements than other's games and that's including stuff like RDR2. I know they're successful on PC and that's probably the reason they don't care enough. That might be the case. But my point Sony just has to put more effort if they want their games to sell well. "Prestige" bs might run in their walled garden but the PC marketplace is a lot more complex and there are different expectations they will have to meet.
They haven't even listed specs for TLOU while the game is already listed for preorder...
It's a roguelike, it's just not a very good one.
Really cool arcade shooter, just a bad roguelike, which is why I ended up dropping it halfway. There was almost no sense of progression outside of zones/bosses and every run felt almost exactly the game.
It's not, at most it's a roguelite.
I disagree that there's no sense of progression though. It starts out slow, but after a while you really start feeling it.
