Not a lot of reason to get an Xbox Series before 2022, but hopefully the drought will be over around then. By that time, there could be a new model or a cheaper current model.

Too bad I'm not patient enough to take my own advice. I got a Series X hooked up right now waiting for some games.
 
Forza 8 doesn't even have a release year. Forza Horizon 5 has not been announced this fall, and there are other mistakes. Most stuff sounds legit but for estimated dates from maybe 1 or 2 years ago, and we should add there some typical delays from videogames, and now even more with covid.

We also should consider what MS said that all the games published by them during the first couple of XSX will be crossgen. According to their trailers and the Xbox page several of the mentioned games aren't crossgen, so they souldn't be released before late 2022.

It was posted in May.
Nearly everything that they listed was basically known or just outright known.

Playground - Fable.
Ninja Theory - Mara.
Initiative - Perfect Dark.

Everything else they pretty much got wrong.
Forza Motorsport 8 not anywhere near making it for XSX launch.
Probably wont make it into 2021 either.

Relic Entertainment are the main devs of Age of Empires IV, though. However, World's Edge are overseeing development. And Adam Isgreen is leading the project (thank god).
 
Release dates are way off, but I hope the find the person who leaked all that stuff and break one or two of his legs.

A lot of RPGs. Nice. But not enough shooters however I think 3rd party shooters will be enough.

We have already been told most of what MS studios are working on, even stuff that really may not have even started full production.
 
I had a bad relationship with my manager so going to break NDA and leak everything.

Doesn't seem like an employee I would like to hire. Even if the leaks were games that are already rumored.
 
Not sure about the more adult tone in fable...

I'm usually happy for more adult tone but not for a game like fable.

Those if not all we knew about already? I feel this is just attention seeking bullshit. Also I do believe we will see some of them NEXT summer. But anyone expecting them in anything earlier than 2022 is dreaming.

I am good with all of these. So I hope it works out. Double fine does not interest me though.
 
Not even "leakers" seem to care about what Compulsion Games are up to it seems.

Double Fine seems like a better fit for Banjo than anyone else MS has, if they're gonna bank on Rare nostalgia to fill their line up they may as well give the people what they want

-Worlds Edge is too small to work on anything, but I can see them working on Rise of Nations in future.
-Double Fine cant release Banjo in 2022 after Psychonauts 2 in 2021.

-Initiative working on Perfect Dark has been known for(the studio for example) and didnt come from thhis guy.
-Everyone knows InXile working on AAA RPG in UE5.
-No Hellblade II trailer in June.
-Fable is not releasing in late 2021/early 2022.
-Avowed wont release in 2021. Most of Obsidian is working on Avowed.
-Everwild is not releasing on 2021. From the Eternals trailer we know that it is a very different game.
-No Forza Motorsport launch with XSS|X.
"I worked at XGS" is worse than "My uncle works at Nintendo. The leak only mentions stuffs we already knew and not stuffs confirmed after the leak like State of Decay 3 or Flight Simulator, or stuffs revealed later The Medium, Scorn, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 , Exo One and Shredders.

Yea,the games seem reasonable...the release dates don't add up at all though....Avowed launching in 2021,lol......I don't think so.....I hope The Outer Worlds 2 is real though,I'm playing the first now and love it!......the second one will sell me on an Xbox for sure,well played Phil!

Doesn't have to be faked - only delayed.

The leak is from beginning of May and the information is perhaps older than that.

Back then no-one was aware how Covid 19 would affect studios and how long it would keep on going.

People and companys say that they just keep working from home and that it would work just as good but it does not. Big teams loose a lot of time and productivity.

Some of them are pure bullshit though, like Age of Empires V and Forza Motorsport as launch title. This not just about delays, at no point did Obsidian probably expect to release Avowed in 2021.

Fable should have a whimsical posh-lite British sense of humor. If it's anything else can you call it Fable?
