Someone explain Phantom Dust Multiplayer to me?

gg's ijoel and maf. i was just on a hot streak there dudes i dont know what was up with that. but i was owned in that last game by ijoel. dammit! i go to bed angry now!

also ijoel, what was that power you shot me down with when i was flying? that shit was like homing missle i couldn't get away from it. i don't think it damaged me too badly, but it seemed like it took away one of my powers or some aura. i've never seen it before, what was it?

fucking sucks getting shot down. Take damage from the shot, take damage from the fall. I was telling Dead and Ijoel how I didnt have enough white orbs so I spent the first few minutes base camping haha. Sitting duck as it were. Ill have to fix that before tomorrow.

hahaha!

That was a blast. I'm definitely up for more tonight (3/22 night that is :p).

I don't think that took away any of your skills. That was a simple "Bullet of Fire" and it only does 2 dmg.

Thanks to Ijoel, MrBob, French Movie Theme, and Castellan for a CRAZY DUST TIME. Shut up.

Thanks for not thanking me! >:( If I had sunburnman as a nickname, maybe I'd get more recognized (and 6.8 is not funny anymore).

It was pretty fun. I thought this game was pretty good offline, but online, it's absolutely terrific.

Levitate leaves you a sitting duck. Really risky move, Jump is better as an evasive technique. Oddly enough Levitate is really useful in a low ceiling level as you can sorta quickly hover away while hugging the roof. That's how I survived and subsequenly beat down MAF yesterday :lol

Has anyone found any advantage with Dhampir Claw? It's a short range move that seems to do nothing but 1 damage, with a very low success rate. FrenchMovieTheme and I were stuck with it yesterday (though somehow he managed to beat MAF's Psycho Sword). :lol

Got my copy last night. Haven't put any time into it yet, and probably won't until later this evening, but I'll be on tonight.

It has a low cost and absorbs health, doesn't it?

Dhampir Claw gives you health equivalent to the damage you deal. It does 1 damage normally so if you connect with it (NOT) it'll give you one health.

It sucks as a melee skill tho.

My brother-in-law is in town, so I'm explaining Phantom Dust to him (he's a big Magic fan) and we're playing a bit of the game. He loves it, so I decide to buy him a copy. I hit up 5 stores (3 were game stores) and came up empty. Game Crazy didn't order any copies of the game and the clerk didn't even know what game I was talking about and tried selling me Phantom Crash. GameStop and EB both ordered 2 copies and they were obviously sold out. WalMart and Fred Meyers were long shots and typically don't order "niche" games.

Online is about the only option to get the game.

I'd imagine if you have something like Heat on and use Entangle that Dhampir Claw comes into its own :lol

Oh and what does fusion do, I used it multiple times on people and aside from them grabbing their heads couldnt figure out what happened

Dhampir claw actually rocks.

The longer you hold it down the more damage it does, and you get health back equivalent to the damage you dealt. For every point of damage it costs one aura.

well, I have maybe 15-20 skills in my aresenal cause I made room for more white orbs so I dont spend most of the match base camping.

Cant afford another aresenal yet.
