Are we supposed to know who the guy with the prosthetic foot at the end was? I don't remember anyone like that but I haven't rewatched the series at all

As always, please remember to spoiler tag any promo discussion. Thanks.

One of the Nomads. Greg the Peg.

Definitely don't remember him

Definitely don't remember him
He put one leg up during the episode and make a joke about putting our feet down and they laughed about it, and they called him Peg.

Wonder if Sutter is bringing any more Shield alumes in this season.

I remember him trying to get CCH one year but it never happened. Would love to see Walton and Chiklis or maybe even Jace do a role before the series ends.

EDIT-

Who all has been on from The Shield? From what i can remember

David Marciano (Billings)
Jay Karnes (Dutch)
David Snell (Ronnie)
Kenny Johnson (Lem)
Benito Martinez (Aceveda)

Shawn Ryans Wife who play Mackeys wife in The Shield but her name escapes me. And i know a few gang members from The Shield has been on.

Chiklis is too recognizable imo, I feel like his presence would detract. Everyone would be thinking "OMG that's Vic Mackey" rather than focusing on the storyline.

Goggins and CCH would be cool guest stars.

I'm thinking they still consider Clay the boss and Clay still doesn't know who gave Jax the letters (he probably assumes it was Unser)

I don't see Jax ordering that.

One of the Nomads does, his nick is "Peg" i think.

Ummm. Didn't Gemma just tell clay in this episode that she gave them to him

Damn, Pope is unreal. Calculated and subdued on the outside, but cold and ruthless on the inside.

I think Perrineau's subdued performance is really going to win people over as the season progresses.

He's the one that put his prosthetic leg up on Phil's (the fat prospect) shoulder at the table earlier in the episode.

Whoa, holy shit I did not put that together.

As for the episode, definitely SOA, so brutal to watch.

I love Kim Coates, but his performance was awful when his daughter was burned. What was he going for there?

This episode was really typical Sons to me, picking up right where S4 left off, with very little of meaning ultimately happening. They are starting with the noose tightening early this season, which maybe there is an infinite climb of tension to build, but I doubt it.

The sadistic act that takes place in the episode is for shock value, it's a cheap device and the character it actually happened to is completely meaningless within the SOA cast.

Spoilers about what I'm talking about below:
Sure, it wounds Tig, but the character they torched? Totally pointless, throwaway character. Just a red shirt. Sutter hasn't demonstrated an ability to really hurt his characters yet. He seems like he's still in love with them all. I hope this season changes that.

I don't understand that stuff about the Nomads disbanding. Don't they not even have a real organization? I thought they were just loosely affiliated guys who didn't want to be part of a regular charter. That didn't make sense to me, besides being a story excuse to bring in fresh blood without adding new prospects. And by fresh blood, I mean SAMCRO members that Sutter can kill off without touching any of the beloved main crew.

It was rough, but that was also some awful dialogue he had to read in that moment. Those are not the lines coming out of anyone's mouth while watching their daughter burn to death.

So, Clay told everyone. That's a bit better than last year's "I can't tell anyone lol" shenanigans.

However, I don't believe the club would be "cool" with it like they were.

Yeah, that entire scene was shit.

I think you're mistaking the club Nomads and nomad as in a biker with no club.

This had to be the most fucked up SOA episode. The shit is really gonna hit the fan this season.

That scene was almost laughable. Really put a sour mark on what was otherwise a pretty decent episode.
