Finally saw it after missing it on Tuesday. Holy shit, Tigs is going to go apeshit this season. Kim Coates acting was pretty amazing in that scene.

Great opener. Leg dude should have been more obvious when he put his foot on Phil, lots of people didn't catch it

I just watched the first episode of this show. Two women burned alive, a pregnant heroin addict almost miscarries, premature baby almost dies, an overdose, and a handful of Mexicans shot and exploded.

That was way too fucking heavy for a first episode. I feel like I need a break from this show and I haven't even started.

Episodes doesn't need spoiler tags, they reveal nothing.
So far these don't, but sometimes they have lots of spoilers. I always tag them because I don't want to be making a subjective decision each week about whether or not I think they're spoilerish when different people have different levels that they're comfortable with. Thus, the loglines get spoiler tags.

Kinda how I felt. They really introduced a hell of a lot of plot material to work with. Maybe felt a little forced, but I'm not complaining. Its good entertainment.

One last thing, it was wonderful seeing Maggie Siff again, oh how I have missed dat ass.

It was definitely in fine shape. :)

That's kind of weird.

If Clay wanted those marriage papers from his own safe, why not just get them out himself?

Or were those Jax and Tara's papers? Which if so, is even more weird.

I assume she changed the code.

Also i called Clay setting that shit up which worries me that we are going to get another season of the sons being split into 2 groups which is getting rather tiresome.

So that was the three Nomad members at the wnd of the episode. Wonder what they planning on doing with the documents they snabbed

And that's why Opie is my favorite character. Despite all the hell he's been through for the club, he was most concerned about whether the Sons had protection for being inside prison. Then he made sure he'd be right there with Jax to protect him.

As much as I love Opie, it makes me sad to see him drawn back into the club, even out of his noble ambitions to protect his friend. Guy has suffered so much for the club. More suffering is probably to come.

kind of boring ep

next week looks refreshing though..

Just an OK episode. Loved the Jax and Nero parts though. I like that Unser is looking into the break-ins, but I'm afraid it will lead to the same tired story line of Unser finding out Clay is a POS and pretty much doing nothing about it.

This preview + the hype you gave episode 3 earlier in the thread really has me anticipating
one of the Sons to die in jail. I think there's too much material left in Opie & Tig's stories, so I'd have to guess it would be Chibs. :(
Anyone else feeling it?

If this happens....Dammit... Though I could see it given his random bit of love speech he gave at the wedding.

Will this show ever get the recognition it deserves?

What recognition?

It's a hugely popular show that is FX's highest rated drama of all time. I'm not sure what else it needs. It's not the type of show that is ever going to win a bunch of Emmys, so why even fret about it?

Who says I'm fretting? I know many people who don't watch because a "show about bikers" doesn't interested them, but knowing their tastes in other tv they would enjoy it. Awards draw in new audiences, like it or not.

Nero was pretty boss in last night's episode. Got a little look into his life and he seems like an ok dude. Jax looks like he wants in on the "companionship" business.

Opie's scene at the end was pretty cool too, lol. But damn now the Sons are going back to jail. I keep getting his feeling one of them is a goner. :/

Great episode...and question...is that Calamity Jane from Deadwood playing their lawyer?? If so, mind = blown. She looks pretty good

I have to commend Jax of being able to have his hair in the perfect constantly greased state at all times of the day. I like Nero as well, I'm a sucker for characters like him.

What can I say, I loved Blood in Blood Out back in the day. Also they are making Chibbs likeableness stand out so much to the point where if someone is dying soon, it's him. And I will frown.
