Why did they have to be the last one to announce LOL, I'll see some of the MS stuff for third party stuff but I'm only watching Bethseda and Sony in full. (Give me the Horizon and Fallout 4/Dishonored 2 PLZ!)

I think it's a good bet that he'll be on stage this E3 as part of the BuildingTheList segment; same deal as with PSX. Question is, what's the chosen game going to be.

Not showing things too early doesn't equate to not having anything ready to be released this year. It's not like Naughty Dog is the only first party studio they have.

There is only one House I would enjoy seeing at Sony's conference, and I really doubt he'd show up.

E3 is far more than just an American event. Microsoft always schedule their conference in a convenient time for both time zones, Sony on the other hand like to give us the middle finger.

This. This is what I'm excited for. Also hearing Murray speak again. Love that guy.
While it sucks for people living in different parts of the world, these are conferences hosted in California and are at times reasonable for that time zone. It makes zero sense to change their time just because it's more convenient for someone in another time zone. At least they stream this shit live instead of recording it and releasing it in your region when more people are awake and at home to watch. Stuff like this happens all the time with big events like Gamescom and TGS.

Do the 2AM start, been doing it for years and love it. Book a day off work the next day and watch direct feed videos in HD with coffee when you wake up. Once a year man, you deserve it!
Now that most big developers have had three years to spend on their big current-gen debut titles, 2015 easily has the potential to be the biggest E3 in years, maybe ever. Somehow even bigger than Sony's 2013 conference.

Will watch Microsoft in the evening and wake up to Sony. E3 is fucking great. Probably have to watch the Bethesda and Square-Enix conferences as well, but Ubisoft, EA and Activision I usually so bad that I don't even bother.

I'd really like that and I could see it happening if there was a few more months between the Konami implosion and E3. TGS maybe? But I guess at that point they would just go for a standard press release.
I seriously doubt that would happen, if it happens at all.
Some gaffers asked Boyes and Gio Corsi some light questions about the list at PSX, and there were some interesting bits.
Shenmue being hard to pull off with alot of legal issues and all, so I doubt they already solved them AND are so far in development.
I think Yakuza Zero might be possible though.
Idk, he might not be able to officially announce anything until his contract with Konami is up, meaning it'll be nothing but MGSV for the next several months by Kojima while he works on getting his own company together. I guess it depends on limited he is based on his current contract with Konami.
It's just a bad situation all around.

You see I think it makes all the sense in this world. It happens all the time, the time of events is modified so it's more convenient for a wider audience, from F1 at night in Asia to La Liga games at noon so China can watch them.
I know that. Sony has arguably the strongest stable of 1st party studios. But it still doesn't change the fact that we aren't going to get a big game revealed for the first time 6 months or less before it releases.
